  When I type in an address, the drop down menu no longer contains the same list of addresses as always. Instead, there is a list of locations (less actual addresses www.com beneath each) in bold and some places are repeated in the menu drop down but take me to a different site.   Is the mouse a PS2 or USB one? Try to unplug and plug in then. If it's a USB then try another port as well and check.

  Problem with mouse:

  Step 1: we can also try to to update the drivers for the mouse and check if it works.

  Step 2: Start the Scan SFC and check if it helps.

  Step 1: Unregister and re-register Windows Installer.

  I suggest you turn off Auto complete and then check if you face the same problem.

  a. open Outlook Express.

  b. click on Tools.

  c. click on Options.

  d. click the send tab.

  e. uncheck the e-mail address automatically complete when composing box.

  f. click OK.

  Turn Auto complete and test again to see if the behavior is better. To activate it again, follow the same steps as above, but put a check mark in the box.
