WiFi TV and laptop share home network to view rather than cords

I would use a home Wifi network instead of using cables to my TV to display my monitor to laptop, is - it possible?

And I can do to boost my Sony TV NSX-46GT1 wifi in addition to adding a USB key?

Yes, you can wireless transmit video and audio from your computer to your TV using an adapter. Sony does not manufacture such an adapter; However, there may be third-party adapters that can allow you to do this.

In addition, your computer should support wireless display feature. You can contact your computer manufacturer for more information about this feature.

Please explain about stimulating your Sony NSX-46GT1 TV and jump drive you speak for assistance in this regard.

    Thank you.  Nancy

    Hi, Nancy:

I prefer a router. I've owned nothing else than the Linksys routers and has never had a single problem with them.

It is possible the you got is defective if you know that you all set up correctly.

    Here's how I do...

You must have your cable/DSL modem connected to the router. If you run a network cable from the modem to the port designated by Internet on the router.

So if you want to connect devices wired to the router, connect to one 4 ports on the back of the router.

Then follow the rest of the steps in these sections to configure wireless devices.

It is important that if you are not very experienced in these things, to use your Linksys software CD comes with the router to configure automatically. I use the software myself many times.  This works.  Just make sure you follow the instuctions.

Linksys has a good online support then visit this site and read the user guide for your model of router.

It is also very important that you start your devices in a very specific order, or you may not able to connect.

Make sure that you have correctly wired to the top of your devices.

    1 stop.

    2. first start of your cable/DSL modem. Wait at least 2 minutes until you see that the lights were normalized.

    3. turn on the router and wait for it to start - 2 minutes.

    4. start the PC.

  • Can I return to 38.0.1 2.0.0.24? Toolbars take too much space: subject bar not minimizable and attachments are a separate tool bar rather than online.

The massive 38 version of space around the titles and toolbars; the "subject" bar takes the massive space and is therefore no longer minimizable and attachments display in a new toolbar background rather than in the bar as to, subject and SIZE.

This makes useful reading the text or a very small image. See the image on 2 different screenshots.

    Thanks, Eddie V

It seems to me that you have not yet installed https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/compactheader/

THANK YOU, WAYNE. This addon got the + and - back themed bar releasing much needed content space.

It leaves the 'bar fixing' at the bottom that is just a minor inconvenience, takes little vertical space. In the old system, it was just an element in the list of properties for incoming e-mail.

Once again, thank you very much for your excellent help. Best for you, Eddie

There is nothing in Windows Media Center that would be involved in listening mode

    Hello

You are using a router that is easier or making an ad hoc network?

Leave a message from Bob Cerelli:

    The bases for troubleshooting are:

    1. make sure that you have the same (e.g., 192.168.0.x) intellectual property regime.

2 make sure you have the same mask subnet, gateway, and DNS IP addresses.

    3. make sure you can ping the IP address of the other computer. Failure, just to test, make sure that you disable XP as well as any other firewall.

    4. make sure that you can test other computers by name.

    5. make sure that you have the same workgroup name (note the spaces)

    6. for purposes of troubleshooting, turn off XP and completely uninstall any other firewall software. You can always add more complexity once get you it working.

7 with XP, make sure you have the same user name and password that the person by connecting to other computers. The default setting for XP Pro is to require a password for network access.

  • I need to reset my password on home network

I was previously running vista home on my laptop. It crashed. The technology that has repaired the computer for me upgraded to vista Ultimate edition. The laptop doesn't remember my home network password & not more than I have. I have to use a wired connection, access to the internet. Does anyone know how can I reset my network password?

You either go into your router and see if the password is availabe/visible, or reset your router to the factory settings and set up the network again.

  • Unknown home network access point that I don't create

I recently updated my modem on a new one that has a built-in wireless router (I have cable internet) I don't know if that has anything to do with this problem, but now when I open "Network and sharing Center", I noticed that my home network name was no longer "an Internet 3" but something named "RubyCheetah" - a name * I * certainly didn't put in there!  I wonder now if I joined in some kind of home network of someone by mistake and I'm now internet access through its network. I live in an apartment building where I think there are a LOT of wireless spots. Would this be possible? Earlier, I was getting very sporadic bouts with pages not loading or taking always into the for do.

What I want to do is to delete this "RubyCheetah" completely and start again with another, as if I was installing Windows for the first time and create a home network. How can I do this?  Help, please?

    Running Windows 7 64 bit

    Hi Stewart,

If you want to remove a connection, just go in your nail connections network the connection in question and press on delete. You will be prompted to confirm, do it.

Then click on "set up a new connection" follow-up steps.

Now, if it does not find your connection, it is a different matter.

If this happens, connect the router via an Ethernet cable and see if you can connect

    Let us know what happens

    B Eddie
