  Looks like you can't synchronize the pictures located on your external drive.  I need a little more information about your configuration to provide a better answer.  However, we will try to sync your photos through the section of the file through the article below.  You just need to direct iTunes to where your photos are stored on your external drive.

  If your photos are in a folder

  1. Select "Choose a folder" from the context menu.
  2. Choose the folder where you store your photos.
     
  3. Click on apply.

  How you get photos from your phone to your Windows PC (assuming that there - you ask in a Microsoft forum, well you have posted in the ' Other/unknown' group) is at least partially determined by the phone in question.
   
  In general you connect the phone to your Windows PC if your phone is seen as an external drive and then look for the phone as an external drive from your Windows PC to get a photo - copy on your local computer.  You could send it from your phone to your email address and then check that the e-mail on the Windows PC.  You can send it via Bluetooth if your phone and your Windows PC have this ability so everything is configured properly.  Etc.

  There is no drive letter for the samsung intensity cell phone.  the phone is indicated under portable devices. Still, I tried to import images by hanging the phone to my computer with a usb cable. I got the same message that there are no new photos, even if there are images on the camera and any pictures on the computer.  I even took two new photos and tried to import them, but always received the same message that there is no new photos.  at the same time as I was able to click on Explorer on samsung phone icon and see the files on the phone.  There was music files because I have a few songs on the phone and the other two files that I couldn't open upward, and could not understand what they were.  I can no longer have files appear.
