  You encounter the error code 28 in the device to any device manager if the driver for this device is not completely installed on your computer. I suggest you to update the bluetooth adapter driver and check if it helps.

  Just, I got my new phone and can't connect my laptop to the phone via an infrared connection. My laptop is the satellite A100-306, phone is Nokia 6275i.   The manual configuration of ad hoc steps network has really worked for me. I don't really know how much I missed. For my curiosity, I tried to open the link provided by Ramesh above and found some interesting things. I downloaded a software called the virtual router on the site - http://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/. In fact, it has worked for me and made my life so much easier. I just have a good concern, is this completely harmless software for my computer? I have not any refusal of Microsoft Security Essentials of any kind in any case. :)

  When I select the check box to allow other users of the network to connect through this computer's internet connection it turns off immediately, so is not enabled.
