Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers site!

Right-click on the zt.exe file and choose "Run as Administrator" to launch the program.

See if you are able to play the game.

If this does not work, turn your computer to clean the start State and see if the fgame plays very well.

To put your computer in a clean boot, follow these steps:

Note: If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

  • Anytime Upgrade used to go on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit for Windows 7 Professional and now my computer is slow

    I run:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (used for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit)
    Intel Core i7 - 2600 k CPU @ 3.40 GHz 3.70 GHz
    32 GB of RAM
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB GB 7200 RPM HARD drive
    AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series

I used the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit Windows 7 Professional 64-bit because Premium had a limit of 16 GB of ram.
He checked and installed correctly without error.
The main reason I wanted to be rid of this limit was because I could not watch any stream of twitch.tv.
The upgrade has fixed my ability to watch the twitch.tv stream, but he gave me a problem which was even worse.
Now, my computer is really slow.

It takes a little longer than before to start.  When it is completely initialized, however, it is not as slow.  The mouse has just had a bit of lag.
As soon as I try to use any application, my computer is really slow.

For example: I open Mozilla Firefox.  There is a delay on when I type.  The mouse really gets lag.  With even just a 2nd tab open almost triple the slowness.

It also occurs in Skype.  I'll have a delay in typing, and it's just slow in general.
It also occurs in video games.  In World of Warcraft, for example, I used to get the full 60 fps in an area populated with max graphics.  Now, I rarely go above 10 frames per second with low graphics in an uninhabited area.
Finally, it also occurs in the videos.  Let's say that I have 2 tabs open in Firefox.  This would normally have me delay like crazy if I try to do things (move the mouse, switch tabs, etc.).  If one of these 2 tabs is YouTube, and I watch a video, it drags you only if I try to move my mouse or tabs.  If I move all of my mouse, he plays the close video very well.  Even with the rivers Twitch.tv, Own3d, etc..  He accuses only if I move my mouse etc.  Also, if I don't move my mouse, the audio gets too quirky.  It's a kind of dubstep/robot/static noise.

I tried to fix it or to limit the things:

    • Updated drivers
    • sfc/scannow (no problem)
    • Safe mode with network (always gal)
    • Service disabled for ALL , including Windows services (always gal)
    • Registry cleaned using CCcleaner
    • Clean a bunch of different caches and tempfiles.
    • A run each utility troubleshooting of Windows on my computer (only found no problem)
    • Reset my IP/TCP
    • The event logs recorded, but anything too rare.
    • Verified resource monitor, but my CPU usage is fine.  He's even not higher than 30-40% on the worst of the LAG.  Memory is also very good. It is used to 3 GB with 28 GB free.

I tried a lot of things, but I don't remember right now.  I will edit this post when I remember or try new things.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and, I hope, provide input!

I can tell you that registry cleaners are snake oil.  They do not help much, and they can cause problems.  Have you checked Device Manager to see if there is everything! or? for all entries?  Using a wireless mouse?  If so, try a wired.  Also, right-click computer and click Properties to see if he uses all the memory.  A number of people have found that they must make adjustments to get to use all of a large amount of RAM.  Your motherboard have integrated graphics?  If she and the CPU card or graphics are active at the same time, they may have a conflict, then you may have to disable in the BIOS.  Search for conflicting IRQ in system information.  Click Start and type system information into the search window.  Click on the + sign next to the hardware resources, and then click IRQ.

Check the system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    Good luck.

  • It's going to be an update for Windows Vista (home premium 32 bit is what I'm running) which will trigger the max score until Windows 7 is going to?

    I have these sides:

    CPU - 4.7

    RAM - 4.8

    Graphics - 5.9

    G. graphics - 5.9

    Disk hard - 5.7

What I want is to be able to tell how my graphics card is really because it's maxed out at 5.9. I know that if I was running 7 it would be 6. _ or maybe even 7. _.  So is there an update I can download for vista which will allow my ratings reach the coast on windows 7?

Not - or at least not likely (but the drivers, firmware or software updates regular for the device using Vista may helo).  The ratings are based on this device using the disks appropriate for your version of Vista device and it.  How it works in Windows 7 (if it works in Windows 7) is from THESE drivers and the operating system (and other components on this computer).  Even if you can and did move to Windows 7, there is no guarantee that you would get all the numbers even better less significantly better numbers - although it is certainly possible amd I know that it has been the case for others who have updated.

The best place to check the updates of device driveer (or firmware or software related, if applicable) is either the manufacturer of the computer if it came with the computer or the manufacturer of the device.  Their websites should have the links and downloads and they will be the most recent and the best available (better that what you could get through Microsoft - in fact, I suggest strongly you never use the drivers supplied by Microsoft and always bring manufacturers directly. What is the most recent will be available to give you the best possible results (before the upgrade of the unit such as adding more RAM tp the video card if your system and it can accept more RAM).

You cannot use Windows 7 device on a Vista machine drivers.  Not only which won't work (if it allows even the facility) and will not improve ratings but that could seriously damage your system or device.  Please take my word on it and don't even consider that it.

Just check out the manufacturers for updates of device (drivers, firmware and/or software) and keep your system up-to-date with the latest available, and that's the best you can do.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Printing for Vista Home Premium 32-bit network: Blank document or disappears from the queue

I'm having trouble printing large format HP DeskJet 1000 c, which is connected via a parallel cable to my Media Center/DVR PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit SP2 on my printer. I connected with the success of this printer to two different computers, a desktop PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit SP2 and a laptop Mac OS x 10.5.8. I can print from the local computer very well, but when I try and use the printer on the network, one of two things happens depending on what machine I try and print from:

    1. from Vista 64 Desktop: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer advance a sheet of paper as if he were about to print, then waits with a power indicator light flashes. If you send a new job network, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the process begins again. If you send a new job locally, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the local job will print normally.

    2. from Mac OS x: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer does nothing.

Although the process of networking of printers with OS X 10.5 and Vista is a bit more complicated (annoying) it was with XP, I am able to print from the Mac to a printer on the Vista 64 machine very well. Similarly, PC DVR allows you to print to the printer of the Vista 64 computer and a printer connected to my Mac desktop.

I checked the HP site for drivers and since it is a quite old printer, there is no listed for any operating system newer than Windows 2000 (which a pilot has been included with the operating system). Any ideas as to why the PC DVR will not take of the network print jobs? Unfortunately, this complex printer (3 printers, 4 machines) installation is somewhat needed due to the possibilities of each printer and how my home office is laid out. If they did a multifunction, printer laser color large network format, I could sell my soul for what it... But I'm not aware of such a machine available to mortals.

There is a difficulty that recently came on the HP Forums for 64-bit Vista:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-and/DeskJet-710-720-810-820-100-series-printers-patch-for-64-bit/m-p/203377#U203377

All you have to is to download the mentioned file and replace some dll with those provided.

The question remains with OS X, but I do not expect that Microsoft will provide no support for this.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit SP2.

Is there a way to delete the records of 'detail' of only updates of failure or cancelled in the history of Windows Update?

I just installed hotfix for Windows (KB947821).

It looks like a lot of my earlier 'failed' and 'Cancelled' updates are automatically updated and installed, and successfully, I might add.

    Hi Jeffrey,.

It's not really a taken way in charge to remove only the cancelled or failed updates. These are taken from windows logs and displayed in the history. Steps that Jose post is a way to remove all files in history and will remove all updates as well as a failed/cancelled updates successfully.

    Hello

1 did you change on your computer before this problem?

    2. when exactly you receive error message?

You can follow the methods and see if it helps.

    Method 1
Use the PING command to verify that TCP/IP is working properly. To do this, ping the loopback address (127.0.0.1) by typing the following command at a command prompt:
    (a) click Start .
    (b) in the search box type command prompt.
    (c) right-click and select run as administrator of .
    (d) type ping 127.0.0.1 and ENTRY.
If you receive the response of 127.0.0.1, it means that TCP/IP is configured correctly.

    Method 2
Check to see if the problem exists in safe mode with network.

Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 3:

Alternatively, you can try to reset TCP/IP and then check if it helps:

How to reset the Protocol Internet (TCP/IP)
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

    Method 4:

I also suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft Scanner on your computer and check to see if it helps:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
