• How do a sound STOP after one touch?

  I have a project due tonight. Basically what I'm doing, it's having a scene with a background music (lets call this Song1), but when the animation starts a key and the music goes to an audio clip that we'll call Sound2. I got the button work so now when you press it the animation starts and playing Song2. I was also able to get Song1 to play when the button has not been pressed.  But the way it works now, when the button is pressed the TWO Song1 and Song2 play and it looks horrible. How do Song1 click the button? I thought that I could call it with this.stop (); the Manager button but that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks for reading!

  Your "this.stop" is a clue that you could use CreateJS / THML5 canvas. If this is the case, you can stop the sound with creatjs. Sound.Stop ();

  The background on the issue, is that there is a switch small sensor inside the plug headphones. When you insert a headphone jack, the sensor includes what is what and changes the setting of audio output for headphones. If you insert a jack for digital audio output, the unit switches to digital output. When you completely remove the plug, it should read the internal speakers.

  The spirits tell me that there is a very good chance that you recently had something hostage in this port, a set of headphones or a cable leading to powered speakers, for example. When you remove the plug, something in the port have prevented triggering sensor properly. That's why you see Digital Out instead of the internal speakers.

(This same technique works well with the bad conduct of ports from headphone output on devices such as iOS devices).

  You must keep checking with the manufacturer of chipset of the sound card for the updated drivers.  Regarding codecs, I personally used the K-lite Codec pack.  I have all the others have not yet used but only found a reliable being.  You can Bing for Codec packs, but be careful when you download from.
