I got the error message c:\$Mft on iexplore?

The error appears when I internet. What I do as I am a real beginner so need to very simple instructions please. TY

2. what version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

3. were there any changes made to the computer before the show?

4. What is the full error message?

5. do you get the error when you use Internet Explorer or another browser?

I suggest you try the following steps if you get the error message when you browse to Internet Explorer or even to answer us with information to help you solve the problem.

Note: assuming you have Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 8 is installed on the computer.

Method 1: Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

a. click Start.

b. click on all programs , then Accessories.

c. choose System Tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

Check if the problem persists, in Internet Explorer, no mode of modules.

If the problem does not persist in mode without modules, then follow method 2.

Method 2: Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer

Follow the steps mentioned in the link to disable all add-ons.

Method 3: Uninstall the installed toolbars

Method 4: Reset Internet Explorer settings

If the problem persists, then I suggest you to reset the settings of Internet Explorer and check.
