I got the msg BOOTMGR and the ctrl + alt + delete does nothing. Is there a way I can use my Vista to get a download and transfer to start to recover my Win 7?

Can I use the Windows Vista download for use on my Windows7 restart/recovery? Geek Squad does not gives me a recovery disk when I bought the Win7 Dell Inspiron. The Win7 has shown with the BOOTMGR msg. I understand that if I get a msg to the computer placed in a mode F8, I can recover. Can U please help?

All you have to do is probably a 'chkdsk' with the /f or /r option to wipe your drive.  The problem is that the Windows installation disc does not include drivers for disk drives SATA which is probably the reason that you do not see your hard drive when you boot it.

From what I hear, you should be able to download and burn a recovery Windows 7 CD which should be able to check and repair repair a standard Windows XP NTFS hard drive.

I just got an iPhone 6 and when I plugged in my laptop, he asked if I wanted to restore my new phone. I said yes! But unfortunately chose the wrong backup restore with. Is there a way I can go back to how my phone was before?

Yes, you can as long as you understand that you will lose everything that is currently on the phone.

    (1) settings > General > reset > erase content and settings

That will make the iPhone as new.  Then, during the installation process it again once will ask you if you want to restore from an existing backup.  You can then restore the scheduled backup.

    Hello

No there is no way, how the do, because the license of Windows Vista is part of the computer compaq laptop - this is the license OEM - and cannot be separated.

(in case the laptop is broken and cannot be repaired, then the license expiresand cannot be used on another computer)

It is important to realize that the Acrobat SDK kit is a marketing tool for Acrobat. So, Yes, certainly you need a copy for each system. There is no redistributable components.

Is there a way I can use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on an Android operating system?

    Hi DavidBuzzer,

It is not possible to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint in Android operating system.

However, you can use your favorite search engine & download any third-party software that could serve the purpose.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

You need to reinstall the operating system with a computer, second hand that you don't know what it was used for, legally or illegally.

With an Acer press you left ALT F10 to start the recovery process.

    http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/2631

Use the following steps to start the system recovery:

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the left Alt and F10 keys.
    3. If you are prompted with a Microsoft Windows splash screen, press the Enter key.
    4. After that the Acer eRecovery Management application is loaded, select your type of restore.
    5. Read the review and then click Next when you are ready.
    6. Click next to start the restore process. Restoration can last from 10 minutes up to an hour.
    7. Once the recovery is complete your computer will load Windows and start the installation of your software and drivers. Your computer may restart several times during this process. Once they are all completed, your computer will be like it was when you bought it first.

If the steps above do not work, you will need to use recovery media to restore your system.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks (if they still...

They should do this for a small fee.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Is there a way we can use Acrobat Standard to assign a password for opening of the signed PDF file once it has been downloaded from DocuSign?

Before execution of DocuSign, we have used to digitize a manually signed document to a PDF file, and then store the PDF file in a file of human resources share.  We would then use Adobe Writer Standard to assign a password to read/write to the PDF file.  Now, we use DocuSign to have electronically signed documents and download the PDF of the DocuSign in our files of human resources.  However Adobe Acrobat Writer we cannot assign a password.  It appears a dialog box saying "' you cannot change security on this document because the document is signed or certified".  We want to continue to be able to store the PDF file in our file sharing HR to restrict who can see off on the part of the passwords.  Is there a way we can assign a password for the PDF file once it has been downloaded from DocuSign?

You can use the Adobe PDF printer to print PDF signed to unsigned PDF and then encrypt the result.

  • Reinstall windows vista is "bootmgr is missing ctrl alt delete to continue starting."

I can go beyond that by F11, but then it gives me an error message and says Setup has been interrupted and reinstall vista.  I did this install partition and backup cd provided at the time of the purchase of the laptop.  any thoughts on how to stop the boot for vista error message will continue to install at the start.

Thanks to you two.  It is an HP laptop and I first tried to reinstall vista wins from the partition and I got the error.  "I managed to do start to recovery and is Manager went to a command prompt to repair the boot record... but then it wouldn't start windows ' registry system contains invalid paths.  installation cannot continue.  This system image was applied without guranteeing the drive letter assignments would be through computers

so I ran the Recovery Manager again.  got the bootmgr is missing again.  Re-entered the recovery partition manager obtained a command prompt is bootrec repair.  so started winning again.  then I got this message. "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error.  Windows Setup cannot continue. to install windows, click "ok" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation '

I did and kept getting the bootmgr is missing message crossed the routines above several times always with the same results.  then, I got copies of the recovery cd and went through the process of using them with the same results.  I contacted hp and they say they can solve this problem for a fee because the laptop is no longer under warranty.  Think that if I obtained a copy of the cd vista Home premium and I tried the recovery that would solve the problem?  or would I be better just let hp fix?

Once again, thank you Michel and Lorien you thoughts and input.

"so I got copies of the recovery cd and went through the process of using them with the same results.

You say that you already have the correct recovery disks for your modal HP; and they do not work.

    Let HP to fix it.

You can try this and if it does NOT, go with HP way to fix it.

Borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
