  I just downloaded the HP/Bing smart print button & it does nothing when I click on it. I have, click on the activate button & followed the instructions, but when he was told to select an option, the only option he had to take off, so I didn't check anything.   Seriously?  You made that Smart Print for work with Internet Explorer?  After learning and download Smart Print, I couldn't understand why I couldn't find the icon to use.  After reviewing the support, I learned that it only works with IE.  Who uses IE more?  I use Chrome and usually use Firefox.  I don't know anyone who likes or using IE.  Can't make you this program work with Chrome?

• HP Smart Print 2.1 and IE10 does not

  Currently have Windows 7 (x 64) SP1 home edition.  Recently updated IE9, IE10 for Windows 7 (without contact).  My HP Smart Print 2.1 worked perfectly in IE9.  It stop working when I upgraded to IE10.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times HP Smart Print 2.1.

  In IE10, I get more HP Smart Print 2.1 control unit features after you have clicked the button of 2.1 to start HP Smart printing.  All I get is a transparent screen as if it tries to start, but not of buttons to use the program.  Anyone else having issues with IE10 and is there a solution to solve the problem?

  HPSPSetup.msi puts a little button in the toolbar small where the buttons home and printing, security and tools Page.  I spent ages writing an update self critical, but lost that when I wanted to prove Smart Print worked when I pressed this button.

  Just updated IE9 browser and noticed that there is no option 'Save as pdf' Smart for IE9 catalog as it was in older versions of smart Web printing for the IE8 and other earlier versions?

  Are there ' work around ' way, apart from the "Print Screen" heavier and HP approach will add back this feature is very handy in the future upgrades?

  I honestly always preferred Google Chrome IE, just for compatibility and ease of use of the browser.

  Just to tell you, SWP is a program that was written for IE8, but has been made compatible with IE9 which led some of the lost features crash. The feature can be added in the future, but I can't put a time table on when this feature will be added. Is there a specific task you want to accomplish that I might be able to give a more appropriate work around?

  I run the 32-bit version of IE9 in Windows7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have version 1.0.9.0 HP Smart printing (I appears in "Programs and features".) I went to the website of seb and ran the activation and he succeeded. The HP bing toolbar appears, but none touch Smart Print. HP Bingbar has 'HP Deals', "HP Advisor", Snapfish by HP', 'HP Games' and 'Learn to HP' buttons.

  Whenever I try to use HP Smart printing service to print a web page to my printer HP Photosmart 7520, I get an error message stating the error code 3.   I'm not sure what is meant by error code 3, but I think it has to do with a browser not supported.

  HP Smart Web Printing Software - Internet Explorer 9 and later Versions are not compatible with HP Smart Web Printing

  Now, I know that smart Web printing has been replaced by HP Smart printing.

  What I found interesting is the following: HP Smart printing is a new replacement program HP Smart Web Printing. HP Smart printing is supported in Internet Explorer, version 10 or earlier. (Taken from the link previously provided)

  In addition, Internet Explorer now that 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

  What I read in the following document, I think not that Smart Print supports 64 bit, Internet Explorer.

  I believe that this program works as an add-on through your browser, but if you use, you may have to "Uninstall" IE9 so that he returned to IE8 which has greater compatibility with third-party software.

• I have the HP bing toolbar, but there is no enforcement of smart printing thereon. How to do it?

  I tried to download the hp toolbar bing with the smart printing software, but a window pops up saying that I already have a toolbar installed bing.  Catch 22.  Problem being my bing toolbar has no printing Smart app.  If I knew how to uninstall my bing toolbar I could install then the one with the smart printing app.  Or better yet - how can I get a new application on my bing toolbar?

  Only the version of HP of the Bing toolbar has the button print. In order to get the smart printing, please uninstall your current Bing bar by using the Add/Remove program in the control panel. Then, return to http://www.hp.com/go/smartprint and follow the Setup instructions for the bing toolbar.

  HP Smart Web Printing supports 32-bit versions of IE 6 to 8. HP always supports the HP Smart Web Printing Software. You can still use the 32-bit IE 6 to 8 program, but are no longer available for download.
