I have a font but Illustrator refuses to select it in!

I need to use a specific font (Nanum Gothic Extra Bold) for a certain project. Illustrator knows I have the police: if I start typing the name in it, autocompletes. But once I hit the return, it selects a different font. And the police does not appear on the list.

Which is wrong and how can I have access to this policy?

Hello

Open the preferences and under the Type tab, check Show asian options and Show font names in English .

After that, it shows extra bold, bold and regular. Hope that helps you and all those in the future.

Visit the page How to find missing fonts on Typekit site | Illustrator CC for more information.

Kind regards

Kami Shah
