I have a laptop windows 8, why no sound from youtube or facebook?

Separated from this thread.

None of these fixes apply to me everything was good in the playback devices and internet options in IE.  I don't get sound on videos of classes I am taking online, regardless of the browser that I chose. I've always had some problems with Chrome for Vimeo, so I used Internet Explorer for my classes, but who is recently released, too, so I downloaded Firefox, which worked only briefly.  Now, none of them gives me his Vimeo or Youtube...  I do, however, get Netflix sound, so it's very complicated and frustrating.  I look forward to your help.

Thank you!

    Hello

    Maybe this can help.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Homegroup = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Network of home or work = fundamentally similar (and better) to the previous Working Group sharing methods which allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

To get best results connect to each computer system screen and set all the computers to be on a bearing the same name of Working Group , while each computer has its own unique name.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_name.jpg

Make sure that the software firewall, AV, or other security components allow free local traffic on all network computers. If you use the 3rd group of security, firewall native Vista/XP must be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please Note that some 3rd party software firewall/AV/security costumes continue to block aspects of the Local traffic even it they are off (off).
If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic.

If you end up with the 3rd party software uninstalled or disabled, make sure that Windows native firewall is active .

    -----------------

Network Win 7 with another version of Windows as a work network (works very well if all computers are Win 7 also).

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.

    -------------

If you have permission and security issues with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/permission-security.jpg

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

    * Note . All the users who are allowed to share need to have an account onall computers that they are allowed to connect to.

Everyone is an account, that means a group of all users who already have an account now as users. It is available to avoid the need to configure permission for each on its own, it does not mean all those who feel that they would like to connect.

  • New Acer laptop, Windows 8, but no sound?

When I try to listen to music or watch movies on my laptop, the sound works fine until I stop the song/movie. Once I'm going there to play again the sound disappeared, and it sometimes does not return unless I turn off my cell phone for more than an hour. But the sound is gone again and I tried avaant all night but the sound has not yet returned.

    Hello and seasons greetings...

As it is a new machine, it is quite possible that drivers must be updated (it will probably have been updated since the installation of the manufacturer.)

Check with the Acer day pilot site first (there must be a clear link on your new pc) and then check that Windows is fully updated. (Control Panel - System & Security - Windows Update)

Then - if all else fails contact the vendor!

    Greetings - r.

  • Just re-installed Windows 7, now no sound from speakers or headphones in Windows Player 12. Why?

Helmet ok. Everything was going well on XP and Windows Media Player 11. What is wrong?

You probably have not yet installed the audio drivers W7 remettera on your machine.

Is: let W7 updated to do (not recommended)
    Or
Access the mobile to your PC/computer manufacturer's Web site, locate the support page foryourunit and download then install the good and the most upto date W7 audio drivers. (Best solution).
    See you soon,.

  • I have a laptop that I need to print from my printer at home. What choices do I have?

You may buy a new ePrint printer and will find want to print to it without having to create an email.

Well, there is a way to simulate an experience of traditional printing with ePrint from a cell phone (or other mobile computer).

HP's ePrint driver Mobile that installs and behaves similar to a traditional printer, but it uses ePrint to print online.  In other words, you could be in the office and print to your personal printer with relative ease without occupying space of email to send it.

To get the pilot Mobile ePrint, you simply connect to your www.eprintcenter.com account and click on the download link on the right side to the bottom of the news column.  Once there, click on your operating system to get the correct version.

A manual for the ePrint can be found here.  It will describe in detail how to install the mobile driver and save the printer to it.

I hope this information is useful!
