  I would ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer for the installation of Windows XP CD and run the sfc scan to check if any system files are corrupt and can be replaced.

  Method 1.
  Let us first start the sfc scan and check if there are any file system corruption.
  a. to do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right click Guest and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
  b. type the following command and press ENTER:
  sfc/scannow
  The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  The title says it all.  As indicated, I have the original DVD with its serial number.  This is probably the version 6 of Photoshop CS that I bought over the years.

• 10.1.15 update gives the error message 1301. But I do not have the original diskettes

  I have Acrobat Pro v. 10.1.14 for Mac. It will not install the last update, I get error 1301, who claims that the contents have been changed since the original installation. (I think it's wrong!).   Well, it's a problem in your Firefox. To me this https://www.yahoo.com/ page looks like the screenshot of IE.

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache. To try to solve these problems, the first step is to clear cookies and cache.
  Note: This will be you temporarily disconnect all sites, you're connected to.
  To clear the cache and cookies to do the following:

  1. Click the menu button

     

     , choose historic, then on clear recent history...

  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "all".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to details to toggle the active details list.
  4. In the list of details, see the Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything.

  I just upgraded to Firefox 8 and so far I hate it. The biggest problem is that all the icons are just dark gray blobs, that I can't read. I don't know which version I was running before, but the arrow to the left and the "home" button and all the rest were bright and clear and readable.   A few months ago my NB100-12 caught a bad virus and stopped completely startup in windows. So, I downloaded ubuntu on another computer and installed on my nb100 via a USB key. I now want to put windows xp on the laptop I have the original CD of restoration came with the laptop but I don't have access to an external USB CD/DVD drive? Is it possible using another computer that I can put on a USB recovery CD and start from there to recover my system NB100s.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  PS I think that which is supplied with a recovery CD for a laptop that does not have a CD drive is quite ridiculous. Especially since there seems to be no alternative

  I thought the NB100 came with a hidden rather than recovery discs recovery partition. Are the disks stamped good discs? Or are they DVD-R discs?

  I recently installed a new 200GB Hitachi HARD 7200 RPM drive on my laptop, I know that my warranty will be cancelled, but as I still have the original HDD safe and sound, the guarantee will still defend if say... the technicians were to come round to fix my laptop due to an unrelated issue, but see that the HARD drive has been upgraded; they will always fix the laptop even after I show them as the original? It's a long shot I know, but the 40 GB of HARD disc that came with the laptop only leave me little room after installation of Vista.

  At my upgrade COMPLETELY canceled my claim to the guarantee? Even if I just say... come back and install the original HARD drive in my system, just before the technicians come to my house? But that would be the same as if say... I just show the technician the original HDD on arrival while having the HDD Upgrade inside the laptop.

  A bit confusing, I know, but I'm in a quandary, because the guys from Toshiba are set to come around my place to watch my laptop under warranty, and I fear that they will fix my phone because I upgraded to a better HD and faster.

  I would like to try to clarify your question.
  The guarantee will be cancelled, if you you disassemble the laptop.
  I imagine that the laptop was equipped with a HDD slot at the bottom of the unit and you have to delete only one screw to remove the small cache connector HARD drive. Am I wrong?
  So in this case the upgrade of components such as the memory or the HARD drive will not avoid the warranty.

  But it s a good idea to keep the old HDD that were shipped with the laptop.
