I have been asked by my employer, a State Auditor, to research how Microsoft changed its technical support in the 1990s to accommodate a growing number of consumers.

I understand this is a weird message, but if anyone knows of an old business journal or a related article this topic, it would be very useful.  I'm looking for information on the process as well as how the customer is looking.  Thank you.
