Apple TV loses network connection

Why my Apple TV loses its network connection? Each article I found said it's your network... It is not my network. I have 4 other Apple TV on my network of 5 ghz and they work great. I've seen articles that say it is the signal of my AirPort Extreme. It is not the case... As I said previously I have 4 other Apple TV scattered throughout the House and Apple TV that has the problem is sitting right next to the AirPort Extreme. All 5 Apple TV are Gen 3 and the updated version. So is there anything else I can try before buying a new Apple TV?

Other devices work does not have a network problem.

You can get a report ffrom istumbler, netstumbler or similar to see a current state of the network. This will give you the strength of the precise signal, noise, networks nearby. With the help of Ethernet will also check. You can also test it on another network

I have a TimeCapsule (new version of turn 2014) and I noticed that my backups are not being every hour. I did a soft reset... same question.  I did a hard reset and used the previous settings - same issue (3 minutes network, and then click device not found a few moments later).  I guess I can do a default network but since absolutely no changes to the network settings have work probably months (7 + months) I don't see why this would happen.  I don't want to lose my entire backup (s) risk is... I have a MBP 15 mid-2015 "and capital El v10.11.6.  My TC etc are all up to date on the versions of software too!

Many users have posted on the forum with the same number of "Device not found" in the last days. Looks like almost every new post is about it. This is one of a few minutes there are, for example:

    TimeCapsule loses network connection

Rumor has it that the 10.11.6 recent update is part or all of the problem, according to the opinion.

The "fix" of the day is to disable Back to My Mac in AirPort Utility, that seems to work for users who have helped with my Mac. Of course, you lose functionality when you do this.

No solution yet for users who do not use Back to My Mac, because they cannot turn off something they did not.

Apple is silent, not so much we can do until Apple recognizes that there is a problem (which they are not since yesterday when I spoke to them).

    Stay tuned.

  • WRT120N loses network connection

    Hello

Right after the little help with my home network. I have an ADSL Dynalink RTA 1320 connected to my WRT120N is connected to my PC which is running Vista. I have a new HP laptop running Windows 7 that is connected wireless to my home network.

I have no problem with my internet connection, computer laptop or PC can access the internet at all times.

The problem I have is that for some reason, maybe after 5 minutes, my laptop drops its connection with my PC, and vice versa, so I can't access their shared files (be it from my laptop to pc or laptop). I checked between two firewalls, etc. and all the rest. After reading a few posts, I see that others have the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I disabled my firewall on my laptop wireless. But kept the antivirus on yet, and things are working well.

  • Why did I lose network connection whenever I put my PC in mode 'Hibernate' or 'sleep '?

The problem defined above didn't happen when I used Norton360 (over a period of 3 years).

But when I uninstalled Norton, then downloaded and installed Microsoft Essentials, suddenly everyone
time I put my Windows Vista PC to a low power state I lost my internet connection when I tried
to return to my programs and works perfectly.

It's my duty to go through the entire process of starting again.
"Sleep my mode" doesn't seem to work as he always used to.

  • C4780 loses network connection

My C4780 has constantly been ignored by my home network. It was a problem early on, but a few months ago, I installed a patch that was supposed to solve this problem. It worked for awhile, but now the problem is back. The guard device manager disable the printer after a day or two and I have to keep reconfiguring. I'm running Win7 Home Premium (x 64) and my router uses WPA - 2 personal security. I tried to uninstall completely and re - install all the drivers which is time consuming and the HP software but the problem persists. It is a very frustrating problem. Y at - it a fix for this or it is time to look for another brand of printer?

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Lose network connectivity after the change of speed of the NETWORK card of 100 to 1000

I changed my speed of 100 to 1000 vmnic0, then I lost all connectivity to the server.  I had to switch mode not picked up and back to 100.  Then I thought that maybe it's a requirement that it is plugged into a gigabit switch, so I plugged it in one and I can't connect to it even if the light shows of link on the server and the vSphere client.   Since I have an Intel Pro 1000 card, should not the system automatically see as such and not a 100 card?  Or does not automatically detect the speed of connection and change it accordingly?

Try replacing the cable. Make sure auto-negotiation is enabled on all connections.

  • Once a day, I lose all network connectivity on my Windows XP SP3 laptop. When I try to ping something I get this error: "PING failed, error 1450' code"

Hello, those in about 3 days, I lose network connectivity on my laptop with Windows XP SP3. When I ping no matter what page of the console I get the following error message: show PING failed, error code 1450. I tried to use the option of repair in my area, but it did not help. Computer restart resolves the problem, but I'd like to avoid doing. What should I do to solve the problem?

original title: loss of network connectivity

Since this happen in two different ISP, try to reset your modem or router and also contact your ISP support. Some ISPS will set a rule and limitation of their user, but in your case, discuss it with your ISP, or contact technical support for your PC manufacturer.

  • Pavilion dv6-7135nr: loss of network connectivity and wireless after upgrade to Windows 10 cable

After the upgrade to Windows 10, I lose network connectivity after a restart of the computer.

The operating system fails to load drivers Broadcom 4313 n. The driver date is May 8 202. The reason code is 31 on failure to load the drivers.

I returned to Windows 7 and migrated to Windows 10 several times with the same result. I tried to upgrade on the Broadcom drivers, but Windows says they are up-to-date.

I think it's a driver problem, but cannot find the correct set of drivers.

  • Losing network connectivity in Windows virtual machines

We have a problem with Windows VM where they lose network connectivity after being inactive for some time.  After you go in vcenter server and log in to the virtual machines, they begin to respond to pings again.  For any reason but after they are inactive for a period of time, they stop responding to pings, which means that you will have to return in vcenter server and log, and then their network connectivity is restored.  I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem or have any suggestions.

Looks like the virtual Windows machine has an option like

"allow the nic to the power power off in case of inactivity"

    permit.

  • network connection is not available when using the photos on apple tv

While using Apple TV and pictures, I get a message that says don't: no available network connection.  I check other programs and they have an available network connection and all is well.  This happens intermittently, but once it happens, you will need to restart the apple tv several times and I hope that solves the problem.  I use icloud photo library and I am trying to access my photos.  Is this a known issue?

This could be one of those cases where the message is just a generic "connection failed" message. So he doesn't mean what he says, just that it cannot connect to the server iCloud.

Together there is automatic DNS in your network ATV settings?

Are you sure that there is no interference from WiFi? If there is no interference, a reboot should be enough.

When photos fails, you can use another application that uses the internet?

  • Apple Store is not up-to-day - network connection lost

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro with OS X El Capitan installed and allows you to connect to the Bank of the United States, where I bought the laptop. I moved to the New Zealand a few months ago and changed the NZ store, and for the last two weeks that I'm not able to update the software through the Apple Store, I always get the message "the network connection has been lost", even if the network is OK:

My account is active, no problem. I even "bought" a free app just in case and it's all good - I could add to my list of software and download it.

Any thoughts on how to proceed?

    Thank you

    Fabio

More info: I already followed the instructions to "If you can not connect to the iTunes Store - Apple Support.", everything is OK - no firewall issues, DNS or key ring...

  • HP envy laptop laptop 15-ah150na: loses the connection to the wireless network device I had not only portable for 2 days

    Hello @fairgame,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I understand that you have a problem with the WiFi and wanted to help you!

First of all, try to review the next steps, offered by community member @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:

HP PC - troubleshooting Internet and wireless network

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

Please let me know if this information helps you solve the problem by marking this message as 'accept as Solution', this will help others easily find the information they seek.  In addition, by clicking on the Thumbs up below is a great way to say thank you!

    Have a great day!

  • HP LaserJet M1522nf begins to lose the network connection

Hello! I have HP LaserJet M1522nf and I use it for about 1 year maybe, but since last week, he begins to lose the network connection (ping failed, web interface does not work too). To be correct, the printer is connected directly to the network through an ethernet cable, and the cable is perfectly fine. His work when you turn it on and for the next 5 to 15 minutes, but after that it lost connection (tasks start fails).

I really like using little aid, some perhaps of advice. Any suggestions?

Hard reset the router to factory settings and reconfigure your settings.  Pass the cable to a different port on the router.  You said that the cable was good... change anyway.  Try now.
