I have no bar Tools/menu bar on Firefox for Android 33.0

I uninstalled, reinstalled and looked everywhere on my Samsung Tab 4. I can't do anything that requires access to the menu bar. Help, please.

Adding a photo just to make sure that we are talking about the same key.

I don't have an ETA for you, but it is spoken, here is a list of bugs to integrate the UX, etc.:

  • Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

We have a help article about why this permission is here: how Firefox for Android uses the requested permissions?

Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

  • I don't have the option "use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) for the Application PDF

My accounting software runs on a Mozilla browser. When I saw the reports, it downloads it instead of preview of the report in a new window. My instructions are to go to the Options/Applications Mozilla browser and replace Portable Document Format "use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) - but this option does not exist.

In addition, how to add Applications?

The plugin can be disabled, which means, set to 'never activate', on the plugins page. I think that the forum does not detect it when you posted (see Question details > System Details more).

To verify that you can open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, look for Adobe Acrobat. If it is disabled, it will be down on a gray box.

If your plugin is very outdated, it can be disabled for security reasons. In this case, I suggest entering your product Adobe (Reader or Acrobat) and using the Help menu > check for updates.

Update the main program should also update the plugin. If all goes well then you will be able to use again.

Solution: Software buttons enabled in Android settings restart Firefox and the menu will appear next to the button tabs again button.

jscher2000 thanks a lot, you me headed in the right direction!

In fact, I was not able to open the menu because an Android has not been set.
Have enabled on two OnePlus buttons, you can assign additional actions to double-click and long press of a hardware button, so open/close menu must be assigned in any way to one or more buttons.

I've attached a screenshot of the parameters of the system Android (German)
This can be found under settings-> buttons

    Hope this helps

PS.: Good to know that a bug is recorded to improve this as a feature request, and also good to know that it works you must only know how (re-branded action open menu button)

  • Where the TOOLS MENU

Whenever I try to change something as "disable cookies" the FIRST action, that I am asked to take is to go in the Tools menu... WHERE THE $& * $% & ^ is it?

In more recent versions of Firefox, the Options window has been moved in the Tools menu on the Firefox menu. Press the orange "Firefox" button in the upper left corner, then choose 'Options '.

You can also press Alt + T on your keyboard to display the Tools menu (or just Alt to display the entire menu bar). Or you can click on the orange Firefox button and select "Menu bar" to rekindle the old style menus.

  • Launch of actor in the Tools menu

I wrote a configuration tool (lets call him he asked ABC for simplicity) in the context of the actor for a very large API.  ABC has been designed/intended to be launched from the Tools Menu in LabVIEW.  For development, I ran ABC request directly using a development style 'splash screen' that I would run the project who owned the source code.  Start of my development has a gross pop-up that you select the VI you want ABC asked to act as he launched since.  As part of the final phase of development, I wrote a VI using the properties App.MenuLaunchApp and AppMenuLaunchVI to extract the VI to configure.

Here's where the trouble started.  ABC application works well and close as expected with any kind of strange when closing when behavior executed using the development start screen.  At the launch of the Tools menu application ABC is normally and allows me to run all the methods/GSM for actors without any hint of disorder.  Closing application LabVIEW ABC crashes whenever the launch originated in the Tools Menu.  It is very consistent.

I think from then on, it is that it has something to with the framework of the actor running in a private application context (LV dialog box).  I'm assuming that LV dialog box makes the assumptions that I'm breaking.

I have not tried a simplfied example again; but I would like to know if anyone else has tried something like that...  Is the creator of Message AF in the actor?

    LV2012SP1

My client does not let me share the code.

I have attached debug output in case anyone's interested.

I was able to work around this error...

First of all, I made a simple example and found that I couldn't reproduce the problem (no surprise).  I then started to accumulate the example simple until I realized that I had to have the actor opens his own referance to parent VI (the VI it is menu of the tool has been used) and do not use a referance opened by the start screen.  Even if the referance with the VI parent ref was valid for the actor to use when running it would break LabVIEW at closing.  I added the name of VI and the name of application service for data of the class of the actor and then used pre-launch init to invoke a method that would open up the VI of parent ref.  I should also not that enquing the method of ref VI open parent since the start screen always generates a LabVIEW crash at the close of the actor.

    Fun stuff...

If someone wants the chip as to why this happens, I would be happy to learn more.

  • When can we have "tabs in titlebar" in firefox for linux?

When can we have "tabs-in-title bar" in firefox for linux,
as Ubuntu 12.04. Or for that matter support an add-on
such a feature. I use firefox 13 currently in
    Ubuntu 12.04.

On Linux the Firefox button is on the tab bar and you usually visible through the installation of the OS title bar.

It is not possible to have the tab bar in the title bar on Linux or place other items on the title bar.

Only Firefox for Windows is this function, and only if the Firefox window is maximized, you can have the tab bar and the Firefox button in the title bar.

On Windows, the title bar is in the Firefox DOM (#titlebar), so it is possible to place other objects on the title bar.

  • The main menu 3dot icon is missing in ff26 for android. How to find this button?

    TECHNICAL DATA:
OS: Android v4. ? (do not know how to find the version)
Web browser: Firefox for Android v. 26

    PROBLEM:
Of what I read when looking for assistance, it is supposed to be an icon next to the bookmark icon (top right of the browser) which resembles vertical three points which, when clicked is supposed to display the main menu. On my screen there is no such icon for main menu at all anywhere on the screen. (If someone can put some instructions on how to show a screenshot in this thread, I could provide a).

    QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:
1.) how can the menu icon main foeced appear?
2.) y at - it another way to access the main menu in the Android version of firefox if missing this icon "3 points"?

NOTE: subject: config seems to have been paralyzed in the Android version of firefox so that there seems to be no way to list all the settings such as once, as it was the fault discovered in the desktop version of firefox.

In my view, the icon to the left of the main button that looks a bit like a tray to reverse mail is the menu button.

  • How to make the tools of the web developer toolbar appear in the menu bar of firefox

View > toolbars > Bar Menu under

    Under Tools, I get:

Web Developer (the web developer toolbar flyout menu item - I use it all the time)
Web Developer (the element of standard context menu of firefox - including firebug if installed)

However. View > toolbars > Menu OFF bar

The web developer toolbar flyout menu item is no longer the orange "Firefox" to the menu drop down. I don't want the visible whole tool bar horizontally along the top, I just want to use the orange "Firefox" menu but with the old fashioned Menu Bar OFF.

I don't know why this is happening, but to have access to the tools of the web developer toolbar, I must now, press Alt + T to bring up the Tools menu to access.

The toolbar of the web developer must not be nested under:

Orange drop Firefox button > (drop-down) Web Developer > Firebug (flyout) 1, the Web Developer toolbar (flyout) 2.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thank you

    Sam.
