  It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

  Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

  If you see people with disabilities, is not compatible extensions in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the side of the left end of the search bar ('Find updates' button in older versions of Firefox) to check if there is an update available compatibility.

  You say that you have started from the XP CD, but something is wrong with that
  you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a
  clean install. A new installation by formatting the

  You can not activate Photoshop CS2 as long as obsolete Adobe product activation server. Instead, you will need to download a special version that uses a different serial number, and does not need activation. Note the serial number to the right of the product name. Your existing serial number will not work

  Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

  I must add that when I try and open a file, it freezes and I have to force photoshop completely.

  Thank you very much for your answers. As you suggest, I went to the help/updates and found that 3 points were scored update, Manager, 13 Photoshop and first elements 13 elements. On a hunch, instead uncheck one of them, I thought I'd see what would happen to let update all 3. It took a while, but, long story short, stopped the happy Vangogh and everything seems fine. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument directive to manage demand.   Found the problem - it's a HT Access file on the site itself. Deleted the file and 10.0.2 works very well.

  Yes, but you have said that everything was  Come on, one could easily assume you meant everything but a connection to a wireless access point.  Never, you said that you were using a wireless connection, so that would not naturally be taken as part of anything else seen the way you described the problem.  * smile *.
  If it is purely aesthetic, you have two choices...
  (1) leave that would be.  To try to correct the cosmetic would actually damage something.
  (2) get the latest and the greatest drivers and full software for your network hardware manually by visiting the individual web pages for manufacturers and selecting the proper drivers, based on the model and operating system.  Uninstall all network components.  Restart so they reinstall.  Then, install the latest version that you downloaded.  Clear all memory networks and reconnect.  If this fails, consider using SFC/scannow.
  The second may or may not fix the problem.  The first works as it does now.  :-)
