  The News app is on your device. You should check to see where it is. It might be in a folder. Browse your folders to search for, you can do a search is sliding to the right of the homepage, or you can drag down from the center of the homepage to bring up the search. From there, you can do a search of the application, and if you have it in a folder, then the name of this folder will appear to the right of the app.

  What you want to do with the ATV without an Internet connection?  It is designed as a device of Internet broadcast, so you can access online content via the big screen in the living room rather than the pocket computer in your pocket...

  technically I think its possible but you would still need an Internet connection for the installation and update of the software process and even less to download applications and games, but if you don't have an Internet connection apps/games will probably not work. I don't think that there is 'out of play'...

  Provided the specifications of the computer meets Windows XP you can switch from 2000 to XP. If it does not meet the specifications, you may upgrade the computer first or get a new one which is more cheaper today.

  In addition, please note that you can only switch to Windows XP Professional. If it is a home edition you have then it will not work. You can refer to the link below on how to update your copy of Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro.
