  The screen shows black only in Photoshop or any other application as well.

  • Also, if it's in Photoshop, please go to the preferences > performance > graphics processor, please click on advanced settings
  • And please change the basic design and uncheck the option for "use Open CL/GL"
  • Restart Photoshop and please let me know if it helps.

  You can't the PDF files to be changed with Acrobat Reader DC.

  You must have the Acrobat application to edit PDF files using Acrobat. Edit PDF files.

  For me, it looks like a bad connection somewhere between the screen and the motherboard.
  This could be possible reason for failure to display while sliding in and out.

  I guess this can be resolved easily and I think that it is a job for a technician (authorized service provider). I recommend you contact the service technician in your country to get the laptop fixed. I hope that the warranty is still valid in order to repair for free.

  I hope that this can be corrected. I keep fingers crossed.

  Just ordered a new V15 Nitro Black Edition (Skylake). I turned it on, set up Windows 10, everything worked perfectly. I also ordered a SSD m.2, then I decided to pop the laptop open and install it. Installation, apparently went well, but now the laptop will not boot without the power adapter is plugged in. It seems that the battery must have been disconnected?
