I keep trying to install the latest version of firefox and it does not work
I am running firefox 3.something, I think, and I keep trying to install the latest version on my mac. I have through save, open, drag the icon to my apps file... and when I drag my apps file, it takes a few seconds to do * something *, pings to me and then nothing after that. I try to open it and it tells me that I have to close firefox first, so I didn't (restart even) and when it opens again it still opens to the old version.
Looks like you are trying to install the latest version by downloading it from the Mozilla site. What happens if you try and install by choosing Firefox > Firefox in the Menu bar? Yet you say that Firefox is not updated?
Also, have you tried to uninstall Firefox using CleanMyMac or AppCleaner, for example and then install again? Please do not do this until you are satisfied you have saved all the information that you want to keep, first (passwords, etc.).

Since I have updated to the latest version of Firefox a few days every time I click on a link, or in a dialog (like this one) or try to pin something to Pinterest, a reading of google window opens. I have no new pluggi-ns and no Add-ons. I also scanned my cpu for viruses and none were found. What is originally this issue that drives me crazy, and how can it be solved?
To eliminate if it is a corrupt add on or plugin, please check if it happens in a new profile with just the pintrist on. This will tell you if it's a combination. Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox

I am so happy with Firefox 3.6.25 (thank you), but I'm worried update the program because the requirements of system does not respond to my PC or does it? I have Win XP Pro SP2, PIII 600 MHz I still get messages on your part on updating the program but do not know if it is possible.
Stick with the version you have now. The versions of Firefox 4 + need a processor with SSE2 instruction set, as in the Intel P4 processors.

Recommended hardware* Pentium 4 or newer processor that supports SSE2 * 512MB of RAM * 200MB of hard drive space

I think that the version he is trying to download is 10.something, and it seems to freeze on the window of 'progress' for quite awhile before I get it close. I've sometimes minimized the window while I did other things, coming to him perhaps 30 minutes later and the window is exactly the same as when I left it.
You can try the alternative and easier way by downloading from here

I am getting blue screens of death since the latest versions of Firefox from 17. I now have version 19 and BOD always get when I am browsing. It happens randomly, no particular site. I am running Win 7 Pro 64, with 8 GB of RAM, AMD Phenon II 4 X, ATI Rad HD 4850 video card. I keep my software updated and my protected system.
In addition, this recent update from Microsoft (KB2670838) 27/02/2013 is distort the text on Firefox on all Web sites. It happens that I scroll to the bottom and the text above distorts and changes color. I do not have the same reaction of IE9, test to see. When I select the test it appears correctly.
After the update of Microsoft KB2670838 Firefox crashed several times and wouldn't start. The Explorer did the same. This update seems to be bug, as his colleagues have experienced the same. I uninstalled the update and everything worked fine after that.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.
If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

Why my CC is not the latest version?
Hi all
I thought that by purchasing, installation and pay for creative cloud my two programs (Photoshop & Lightroom) would always keep up to date with the latest versions.
I watched a video today where I realized there is now a brush mask filters degraded (etc.) in Lightroom and when I went to play with mine with enthusiasm, he is not there and that is clearly not the latest version.
What I have to do something to update it myself? Did I lose all the photos in my library that I have yet to edit and save if I download an update?
Thank you!!!
