I have too many messages open.

I managed somehow to open much too many messages in Thunderbird. I've never done this before, that is, in all these years, I've had Thunderbird (or years and years before that once I have had someone to another e-mail program!). I tried to close Thunderbird and to restart the computer. Nothing does get me a clean slate for messages that are open. They are always there. I closed hundreds of them, but the end is nowhere in sight. I feel a bit stupid, but I need help!

  • Lightroom does not open, I have too many computers registered

Lightroom is not CC but updated to the latest version of sad-alone. The serial number is valid, but when I try to start, I get a message saying that I have too many computers registered. As far as I know, I have only this one. I may have another old but he died.

I have been using Lightroom for years and since April with the last update. The only thing that changes is that I got a logic board again set. But this should not change computer identity, it should?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi miked

The only thing that changes is that I had a new logic board set

This means that you have added another computer, stand-alone always disable any product Adobe before you upgrade your motherboard or buy a new computer.

Restart your computer once and try to activate again

  • How OE 6.0 behaves if there are too many messages stored in the Inbox or sent folders?

    Ability of OE message

How OE 6.0 behave if there are too many messages stored in the Inbox or sent folders. And the number depends on whether or not they have been read. Is there a limit on the file deleted or is it supported by Auto removes permanent?

Partially covered in your other post.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

If I re - try several times, then the mail will be sent OK.

I recently deleted a load of messages in the Inbox of reception and Sendbox - but that did not help.

I tried to change the port number - but get the same question.

I don't know if the problem is with Windows Mail or server btinternet.  The server stores not an excessive number of messages.

As I thought might be the case, the problem was at the level of the BT server.

I logged the issue with the support of BT Office.  Initially they wanted me reinstalled Windows Mail (and potentially lose all my email archives).  I resisted that and they to the engineering team.  I don't know what they have done (I'm told it was a known problem and they had to set some parameters at the end of the server).

Everything they do seems to have solved satisfactorily the question, which has not reappeared.

I think that it's rarely worth to try to resolve the generic Windows error codes only via Windows.

  • Is it possible to prevent or remedy to have too many files in the DCIM folder?

Is it possible to prevent or remedy to have too many files in the DCIM folder?  In a group of friends, when you view folders DCIM iPhone in Windows 8, three of us have many, many files (such as 101APPLE, 327APPLE, 328APPLE).  Phones concerned: 5 c, 6: 6.  Some have only one photo per file, some files have just a few pictures.  In addition, two friends have files dated 1969.  I think everyone has the most current ioS. What is the cause and is at - it a way to overcome it?

No, it isn't. The DCIM and its content was never for public use to shoot photos and videos.

You have to consider where to store images and catalogs as well as your backup procedure.

Your photos and catalogs are now on your laptop.

You can move your photos from wihin the Organizer files: use the left in mode files Panel and drag and drop folders (including their subfolders) to the new external drive. This is the same procedure as with the Explorer/finder. This makes the Organizer ensures that the path of the image files is updated in the catalog. You can have the part of your library in your laptop and the other in the external hard drive.

You can also move your catalogs on the external hard drive from the Catalog Manager.

If you want to move the catalogs and photos to Catalog Manager, you can also do so safely using the backup/restore procedure:

Using Backup, Restore to move the catalog | Organizer | Elements 6 or later version

About backups: you can use the built-in backup method or an external one as your cloud solution.

Photoshop Elements 6/7/8 frequently asked Questions (FAQ)

My advice is to make sure that your catalogs are included in your cloud backup solution AND backups oganizer periodicals. This is the only easy way to restore or move your library and catalogs if your laptop or SMT fail.

  • I can't save files more after the upgrade to iOS8. Do I have too many on my iPad?

I am a user of Photoshop Touch, with the latest version of the app and iOS 8 on an iPad heavy Air and recently, I often can't save files I worked on: the application suddenly closes when I try to save the image often several layers, but also more light photographs. If I restart the application, it does not help.

I have a lot of files in my library PS touch. I don't know how much exactly, or how heavy the entire library. I have a lot of space available on the iPad (42 GB free) However, so this isn't the issue. I download files to the creative cloud lately and to subsequently remove library PS touch on the iPad, but there are still hundreds of files in this library, which were not uploaded to CC because I have not yet can visit his profile, and who therefore can't delete again to make room.

To automatically synchronize all the files to CC, attempts have failed. The application closes unexpectedly.

Additions to the CC of the files is possible in small groups, but extremely time-consuming, or even impossible in fact as there are too many files. I can't even scroll to the bottom of the library very far without causing a freeze of the application.

In addition, it's not like I can extract the files via iTunes. I can't see the library of documents in PS Touch on iTunes. I agree with the Creative Suite on creative cloud, but is no help, I guess. Except that I might be able to open all of the PSDX files in Photoshop cc If I was able to get back them.

Question: Assuming there is a problem of memory, is it possible to extract a large number of files PS Touch the iPad to make room and clean the app, so that I can work with him again?

Any other ideas before I lose all this work?

OK, I seem to have found a solution: I have copy to iTunes files that are in the PS button on my iPad, and then I extract them from iTunes on my Mac. I select the PSD format until I have copy in iTunes, and I'm doing this operation with lots of about 50 cases at a time. If I select more than one file to copy, tactile PS crashes.

  • Why have too many tabs suddenly removed?

Firefox Add ons have worked very well.
Following an accident, I am now informed that too many tabs 1.3.6 is not compatible with Firefox 3.6.18.
I don't want to spend because, generally, many Add ons fail to work with the upgrades and upgrade tends to be a step backward, as regards Add ons.
Firefox usually emits new versions prematurely and tends to put the cart before the horse in this case add ons.
They can wait patiently add ons are ready and compatible.

I don't see why there would be a problem. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall too many tabs? If you have persistent problems, you should contact the developer.

Wait for the module developers would take forever and a day. The worst culprits are the toolbars of the large commercial operations which have several months announcing changes of the version. And often the required changes are really minor. I manage very well with no third-party toolbars.

My extensions do not have necessary update for weeks. If you have an extension that is trolling there is often the best alternative, certainly better maintained. Too many toolbars seems not to be a culprit.

Sorry for reading. I have no connection with Firefox except as a happy user.

  • Too many connections open for integration with QA Oracle WebLogic JMS

Is there a document explaining the number of database connections required by the factories of connection and/or the queue? I configured a foreign server with destinations and connection factories to integrate with AQ JMS WebLogic. I have 16 destinations (14 lines and 2 subjects) and two plants (a XAQueueConnectionFactory and a XATopicConnectionFactory) connection configured. I have also 16 multilateral development banks, one for each destination, configured with max-beans-in free-pool value 1. Everything works fine. However, when the application server is started, I could see that there are 68 open database connections. This seems too high. When using OC4J we had max-connections set to 30 and it was working fine. Why are so many open connections?

Battery stuck trace, the particular version of the WebLogic you use, uses the receiver of messages JMS QA for voting message and sets an ExceptionListener on JMS connection. (I think that your MDB is a non transactional MDB). The JMS AQ message sink uses a db of the query message connection and the implementation of the QA JMS ExceptionListener uses internally a db periodically ping the database connection. If your MDB uses two connections in your configuration.

  • Error "too many files open.

We have an employee using your Windows 7 desktop. When they try to create a file on one of the servers, they get the following error message. This was to save different applications, but also just going through Windows Explorer and try to create a new text file. -

It seems not to be a server problem. Very well, other users can save.

It's not a permissions issue. His username, logged on to another computer Windows 7, works very well.

It is not a firewall issue. All computers have the Windows Firewall and pass the hardware firewall even... so this computer test, under his user name, works but its does not work despite using only the same hardware firewall.

Sharing network settings are controlled by active directory. I checked her are correct and match the other test machine that has worked.

It seems to be that something directly related to the Windows 7 computer. So far, we have tried to restart the computer and do a system restore on the computer for a few days before he fell. "NET files" shows also no active file and it doesn't always have after a restart that would have killed any open data stream.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!

  • Activate a copy of Lightroom as a stand-alone if I have too many creative cloud

I have a creative cloud account. I use Photoshop and Lightroom on both computers, but I need a game more on my 3rd computer. I have an old version of Photoshop with serial number that works. I bought a standalone Lightroom 6 version that does not open. Account manager Adobe told me that I've used my two options. How can I use my Lightroom newly downloaded with the new serial number?

Thanks Sheena. Finally it worked, but Adobe makes it too complicated to have a creative cloud membership and a stand-alone version of the Adobe product. This link was very helpful:
