I have two pdf files. Can I combine them into a single file without analyzing? How?

I have two separate pdf files.  A file consists of a single page, and the other has two.  Is it possible to combine the two files into a single PDF without sweeping? The analysis does not provide a clear copy.

Not with just the free reader. Can be done with Acrobat or some of its associated services.

I've recently updated to macOS Sierra 10.12 and scanning to HP computer software cannot be located when I open the HP utility.

I can't find a further recommended HP software for my device other than El captain in operating system online.

If I try to scan through preferences systems for printers and Scanners I can open the scanner, but I can't create a PDF combining into one document - it cancels the procedure after about 2 pages!

    Hi @JOGL,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that computer analysis can not be activated as well as the scan and combine them into a single pdf document. With your printer HP Officejet 7610. I am pleased to see that for you!

At this time for this model. There is no software and drivers for Mac OS X 10.12 again, given that the operating system has just been launched, it could take some time. For the time being, you can try to use HP Easy Scan to see if that can meet your scanning preferences. In otherwise, all we can do is wait for the software and drivers to be released.

  • How to combine two PDF files without form fields-building

I have two PDFs with form fields in each. Someone else created the documents. Some fields were untitled and so were given names as "not defined" in each document. However, some of these fields contain different information in each document. When I combine the document, these fields mix and incorrect information to in some areas.

For example, there is a blank field in the doc A, entitled "indefinite". In the doc B, there is a field with "johnson" titled "indefinite." When I combine, "johnson" appears in the empty field.

Is it possible to combine the documents without the combined fields?

The code must be placed in a stage of "Execute JavaScript", you will find under more tools in the Edit Action window.

Here, you must also add a step to the Sava.

  • How to split a video into images and combine them into a single image?

    Little context:

A game called Roblox let's make you your own games, publish, advertise and monetize them, etc. all this for free. It does not support videos, so I want to make my own using pictures. I have already tested with images individual, but which is laggy. So I thought, what happens if I make an image with a bunch of images in there and have this image to move on the screen it looks like different images.

So here's what I want as a result (but with my own video and without white space between each image):

How would I achieve that? Is Photoshop the right tool or other necessary software?

    Too bad!

I use FreeVideoToJPGConverter (software) to convert my videos in jpg files.

Then, I use Photojoiner.net to convert them into a single image.

  • I tried to make a boot camp partition, but for some reason some don't has not and now I have two partitions I can't combine.

I tried to ebb in the Boot Camp Assistant, but I'm greeted by this message "Startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition. Also, whenever I try to go back to disk maybe utility try to merge the two together it won't let me. Help, please. My laptop is currently the MacBook Pro 2015.

Maybe someone can come up with some weird juju or mysterious incantation to perform during the full moon in loincloth, but in a State worse case, you will need to repartition the disk and reinstall/restore from scratch. So I would say that you start preparing down all your stuff safely into something you can restore from. In other words, get an external drive of appropriate size and clone the current system of work on a bootable clone. Can be done with disk utility, but the fastest way is to use CarbonCopyCloner, you can try for free. Be sure to clone the recovery Partition as well.

  • pdf creation of the SAME SIZE of two pdf files

I'm probably not follow instructions very well, and I'm not finding an explanation in the documentation so I hope someone can help me here.

I have two pdf files. one is a cover of a magazine page, and the other is a page within the magazine where my work is mentioned. I want to combine these two PDF in a SINGLE pdf, but in a way that both the pdf is the same size. I feel like I am missing a setting somewhere for it as whenever I do this inside page is printed on the pdf document to half the size of the cover page.

I tried to save out in png and making sure they are the same size and resolution, but it prints (except Preview) with white around the borders.

I tried recording outside in optimized PDF and affecting the sizes 8 x 11 and 72 dpi but this then prints out Acrobat as a very pixelated in the document that are not readable.

can someone help me with a step by step on how this can be done? It seems that I should just be able to open two random pdf files in the menu CREATE and then tell Acrobat to print to a specified size (this would be easy!), but I must be missing something.

    TIA

    Hotwheels 222,

It might help to think that PDF is a container that can have many things such as texts, photos, graphics, vector elements, etc. all wrapped up in it.

Normally, the content is created in another application such as InDesign, Illustrator, MS Word or many other applications. In the application you create a blank document and add or place images, type text in any font you want to place or create some elements of vector (if the application has actually vector tools)and even other multimedia such as audio and video as long as the application supports,

Photos can all have a different resolution, vector elements have no resolution (I'll explain), the text can be in many different fonts, and they all keep their distinct characteristics within the PDF file.

A PDF file created from an application like Photoshop will be just a resolution, because the PS is a pixel in the image editor and a PS document can have only one resolution.

.. .the idea that two adobe products cannot communicate Acrobat to photoshop in terms of a resolution of pdf in photoshop seems very awkward... Once again, as a PDF file may have a lot of pictures with different resolutions, even if the PS could get this info (which may not) what PS resolution would decide to use? PS sheets it is up to the user to decide based on what they want their final production can be.

You mention a document you have this "seems no inserted images" and "it appears as if there is an image"?

The pdf of the cover are you referring?  The PDF producer is "Adobe Acrobat Image Conversion plug-in 10.0" is a tip out of 'Test Name screen' and thought it came from Photoshop.

While possible, this document was created entirely in Photoshop, it is also likely that it was created in another application such as InDesign, exported from here in PDF and then PDF etc. was opened in Photoshop that rasterizes the content and flattened into an image file with the resolution you have chosen when opening in PS and then saved as just an image in PDF format. The graphic designer who created this probably did this because they did not want to give you a print quality PDF that you can try to extract the elements of.

You mentioned that you thought that the doc was in Adobe Illustrator (AI) HAVE is primarily a tool for creating vector allowing also to the pixel for inclusion based raster images (with a resolution of specific pixels) to be included in a document of AI if wanted.  Strictly speaking, vector objects do not have a resolution. They are based on mathematics,

He said essentially, put a point to such & such X, coordinated, now, put an another punch to another X, Y coordinates, it takes account of the arc or angle between the two points and said to draw a straight line, or draw a curved line, etc. Since it is only the mathematical instructions. This can be as large as you want and the relationship between the 2 points and the arc of the curve or line will dictate how the extended line or curve will be redrawn enlarged.

Vectors are 'independent of the resolution' you can draw a vector logo to 1 x 1 inches and enlarge it to 50 x 50 inches or even as important as a home and it will always print crisp and clean. Notice, that this applies only to vector content in your document; pixel content is blocked in the resolution, it was created in the.

To inspect the elements in a PDF document using the object Inspector in Acrobat Pro. Since a PDF file can contain several different objects, you have to click exactly on each object to get information about the selected object. So if you had 10 photos in your PDF you must select each in turn and he would give you the size in pixels, resolution, color space and profile, etc if you have clicked on the text, it will identify the police. It is well named, an Inspector of the object rather than a Document Inspector. Try it yourself with the different PDF files that you may encounter. If for example, it gives you the exact same info (resolution, pixel dimensions etc.) bit matter when you click, then you're probably dealing with a simple image. If you get the dimension in different pixels, resolutions when you click in different areas, you're dealing with a PDF file that had separated the distinct elements.

I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get a document that is located at 17.7 x 22.9 to 72 dpi up to one that is 8 x 11 at 300 ppi.

In Photoshop, go to the Image, the Image Size menu. This will show the dimensions in pixels (width & height) at the top. If you don't interpolate (resample) Photoshop can only put the same number of pixels in different size documents. When you press it same number of pixels in a smaller resolution doc increases. When you place the same number of pixels in a larger doc and the resolution fails.

Don't forget, that the resolution is PPI (Pixels Per Inch). If you do the math it starts to make sense.

Below notes that each dialog box features the same EXACT pixel dimensions.

In the first box, it shows the 1275 x 1650 pixels in a document of 17.708 22.917 x inches. This gives a resolution of 72 DPI.

In the second box, I changed the size of the document to 8.5 x 11 inches and pixels of 1275 x 1650 even now increase the resolution to 150 DPI.

In the third box, I changed the resolution to 300 DPI and the pixels of 1275 x 1650 even now decrease the size of the document to 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

If you check the resampling, Photoshop will interpolate (resample) image to throw the pixels, or adding pixels, but there is no magic involved and the results are never as good as we could hope.

Like Goldilocks and the 3 bears, some things are better when they are 'fair '.

  • Problem in hyper-lier two PDF files

    Hello world

I have two PDF files that I created in indesign cs5. Two pdf files are A.pdf - theory and theory - b.pdf. These files must be linked together according to the customer requirement. I know that the way to create the links in the PDF but here where I'm stuck

"The naming of theory-A pdf file has 4 pages and on the 2nd page, there is a link that I created to post a link to the pdf file of theory-B. Once I click that it pushes me to the 2nd PDF file which has only 1 page.  I created the previous link to appellation BACK to THEORY-A 2nd PDF but when I click on this link, it opens the 1 PDF file which is OK. «But this opens the 1st page of the PDF, and I want to open the 2nd page directly rather then go to 1st page...»

    Please, help me in this...

    Kind regards

    Vikas

Hey guyz, I cracked it. The first file should be a button that can guide us to the 2nd document to PDF. And 2nd file, I created the design & created a new hyperlink on whereby I can click and go to the previous PDF file and on the same page whence I.

  • Linking PDF files without losing the display focus on the anchor link

Imagine that I have two PDF files. One is a short letter which is long about 3 pages. The other is a long letter. Short letter cites specific paragraphs in a long letter (not pages). I want to put a link on the top of each reference, such as when you click on the link in a short letter, it opens on the correct paragraph in a long letter and through short letter. I have tagged each paragraph in the letter along with a bookmark and I plan on manual associate quotes bookmarks.

What would be the best way to achieve this? I played with function of linking Acrobat x and I looked in the creation of a workbook. However, I can't find a great solution. Ideally, I would like to make a link to the bookmark so that the user does not lose their place in the short letter; either with a 'back' button, by overlaying the content in some way, or by opening the second document in a new window.

I fairly accurately described the situation, but it is the function that would be useful frequently.

    Hello

    Just me Moguls here.

PDF bookmarks do not "tag" something in a PDF file. Bookmarks provide a phletora of the shares. One of them must take the user to a specified page.

Combine a page view setting with that of spice up the destination of the link.

For your desired process consider the desired destinations named in paragraph Long-letter creation. Configure appropriate bookmark to go there.

You can assemble PDFs (and other files supported) in a portfolio. Remember that Portfolios depend on Flash and which includes the appearance of how the trade winds blow it seems that Flash is heading for disapproval.

You can combine several PDF files into one. However, all of the links created between a Short letter to a Long letter will be broken. Of course, combining you broke 'em (you have created a single new PDF file, and each of those links required two PDF files (a 'from' and a 'to').)

If you have two files ('from' and 'to'), and then configure the link as the destination file opens in a separate file. With the file 'to' just and close it. The "de" PDF is always open. Or use the functionality of previous display of Acrobat / Reader. The link led on the 'of' PDF above in the "to" PDF. Do? Use the previous view and return to 'to' (a whirlwind of tutu?).

Easier to implement what you want in the PDFS created if a robust application is used. InDesign is nice, FrameMaker is my preference.

    Be well...

  • Convert different types of files and merges them into a single pdf

Hello world. I'm a girl from China.

There is folder containing files of different types, such as doc, msg, jpeg etc. severl.   And I want to convert and merge them into a single pdf according to a certain order. I know that PDFmaker can do well, but the problem is that I have like fodlders 3000 + which requires the same work.

I want to do with VBA and Acrobat. I have a Standard Version of Acrobat XI and a perfect license, by the way

And I got the code (thanks, Karl Heinz Kremer) from the merger of two files into a single PDF, but how can I convert them to pdf first?

    Thank you very much.

If I can finish, I would like to publish my code on this forum.

You must upgrade to Acrobat Pro. Then, you would be able to use an Action to convert all the files in your file (s) to PDF format and later on another Action (+ script) to combine them into a single PDF file. So basically, it's a 3 step process. Is not ideal, but not too hard, either.

  • Can I combine the contents of two PDF files?

    Hello

I want to merge two PDF files with the first pdf data.

Please look in the photo below.

This isn't just I wnt to merge two PDF files, but also I want to remove the white space of the high pdf.

can do us. Please let me know if we can do it.

    Concerning

    Sunil Gupta

You can merge two PDF using LiveCycle assemble files, but you will not be able to "sink" PDFs together unless they are both XFA forms. If this is the case, then you'd called 'formula couture' to add two models together, so the model that should be activated in a PDF file.

    Make sense?

I have 9, 1 pages in PDF files that are accessible and the need to combine them into 1 PDF file.  I tried adding, adding and the combine process of PDF files. The file created does not take my changes. The file created is partially accessible, but I have to re - the problems that I had fixed in the unique files. I need suggestions on what else can be done, if any. Using Acrobat pro XI.

By habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page pane by right-clicking thumbnails then 'Insert of Pages'-> 'From File'. For me, this preserves the tags of these two documents, although the tags may have to be moved to the correct location (if I remember correctly the tags for inserted pages are put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), if I put the tags in the document to insert into a container as a Section tag It makes the process easier. Travel set of tags in the right place is the only re-fixing that I remember having to do. What behavior you encounter?
