  I am running Vista ultimate on 64-bit computer with a Linksys WRT310n router in LAN mode. I also have a Canon MF4370dn printer that prints screen & documents ok. I can see the printer on the network.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.   • How do you run the Startup Repair?
  • Do you have Windows 7 repair disc?
  • Remember to no particular change in the computer before the show?
  • Have you plugged an external equipment, except the keyboard and mouse?
  • You are able to start the computer in safe mode?
  • What is the brand and model of the computer?

  Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
