I inserted my office 2007 disk into my cd drive and nothing happens

I have restored my computer to factory settings and want to reinstall the Office home and Student 2007 I bought with it. I inserted disc makes it sounds right... but nothing happens after that... no permissions for windows appear... no verifiacation windows... it just sits there. I know that the cd is ok as I installed it on my other computer... that it is authorized for the 3 machines... so I am at a loss to know what to do now!

Go to the computer, click the disk drive, look for the files there and run any Setup program.

  • is there anyway that I can simply download a VPS Windows version on a disk or a flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way?

Original title: Windows Vista Edition Family Premium Situation!

So, my desktop came with Windows Vista Home Premium, which I didn't know until about five minutes when I tried to use a password reset and it came with an error message. Being a little smarter I have myself give credit, I found that the password reset I used (I had gotten my laptop) has been installed only for Windows 7 because it is the operating system on my laptop. I have no idea if the office came with a disk recovery or not, since my mother bought the display instead of in the box as most of the people get it. I can't get to the desktop because my mother has forgotten his password and is the administrative account and this is the only account available. I decided that I need to reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium to the computer but I don't want to buy a version of it, if I can't, anyway I can just download a Windows VPS on a disc or flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way? Or do I absolutely have to buy a new version of Windows?

    Hello

There is no available legal vista download.

And you make a reset disk on that machine, not another machine and make you before you forget the password, not afterwards.

If this is not applicable, you must reinstall the operating system.

  • Office 2007 SP2 on Windows 7 will not install

Recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. After that, a lot of problems to do Office 2003 and 2007 to play nice. Finish by uninstalling and reinstalling both. Now, applications seem to be happy, except for Word 2003 AND 2007, eager to relocate whenever they are launched. The biggest problem now is that the Office SP2 will not install. Tried registry cleaning, download .exe standalone and as an administrator and also using the tool PatchRegCleanup - x 86 .exe (which gives me a message "productcode must be determined" and makes me want to go out). Yes, Office 2007 disk is inserted. All other updates installed correctly.  Any help appreciated.

My Satellite A200 came with a trial version of Office 2007 which I don't want. It seems not even have installed correctly when Word is open it comes up with an error of installation. Word works after the error message has been closed. I installed my Office XP on the computer and I want to uninstall 2007 as much as when I open certain documents the machine by default the 2007 version.
However, when I go to uninstall starts the process and then just stops and nothing happens - it's still there.
I uninstalled my version of Office XP to see if that makes a difference, but it's not.
