I installed the update to CC on my PC and it has stopped working.

The other day I installed the update for Creative cloud on my PC (Windows 8).  It has stopped working completely.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program several times.  Whenever I uninstall it, Windows says it can't be uninstalled correctly.  When I reinstall, the icon returns on my desktop but when I try to open anything that happens.  I need this program to download Photoshop and I'm VERY frustrated.  Any advice will be appreciated.

    In case you wanted to tell Outlook Express...
     
    Right click on the desktop | New | Shortcut. Navigate to "c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe". Click next | Click Finish.  It will be a new shortcut on the desktop.
     
     
    Once an icon on the desktop, you can drag it to the taskbar for easy access.

    I did a disk cleanup to delete all the thumbs and other things. I also reset some things to clear the messy icons (leave a tutorial to another question on this site). Once I clicked on a program that was not in the taskbar (because I removed it some time ago) and he said "Unpin the taskbar."     Thanks for your answer to my question. I was about to start step 2, by performing a boot minimum when a message pops up informing that 2 programs were slowing down my computer and also to stop because they were also running. Ironically, these programs I've ever used has appeared on my computer advertising protection against viruses and to speed up the computer.

    I did not purchase the license if it comes to start up all the 3 or 4 days telling me that my computer is slow.

    I uninstalled both programs, which I won't mention for obvious reasons and the event system Com + message did not return after the computer has restarted 3 times. Apparently, the problem has been resolved, but I will continue to have oversight. If the problem returns I'll restart and inform you about the results.  Thanks again for your expertise. guavaridgemb
