just got one of these "fake virus/malware" warnings and a click here to remove I've seen before over the years. I did a screen pring and disconnected my network cable and rebooted. Would like to send my impression of screed to someone who might be able to track down. It must be quite new if my safety at day missed. It would be so nice to take one of these jerks in jail who create such things. Anyway, the site allegedly attached to this was:
http://jcgdgdeh.CE.Ms/fast-scan/
And of course the page Web said I was infected with all sorts of things but by "clicking here" will arrange everything. I pulled my network cable and rebooted instead (after the screenshot).

I just got an upgrade DVD Amazon's LR5. There is no option .pkg for installation on a MacBook Pro. Only setup32.exe, and setup32.64. What should I do?
You can try to download the Mac version and using the serial number of the drive. LR serial numbers are normally good for both platforms.

Dell technicians had me buy a new disk, Windows 7 OS, which I installed it yesterday. A few minutes before, a phone call came in saying they were calling from Microsoft and I wanted to scan for free because I bought a product at Microsoft. They had me download software teamviewer.com, ccleaner, malware, spyware superantii. They ran scans and said I was infected and I should buy these software packages for $79. Is this a real service of Microsoft? I still have these software on my computer, I have to delete them? What other threats may be present, if it is not a true service of Microsoft?

Follow these steps carefully:If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running

In addition, about half of my 8,000 e-mails are unread. Thus, the fact of having 4 000 unread emails in my mailbox Windows (Vista) slow down my computer more than if they were 4 000 read emails?
If so, is there a quick way to mark all read emails as read in Windows Mail (Vista)? .. .in windows Live Mail (Vista)?
Even if these unread e-mails degrade the speed, is there a quick way to mark all read emails as read in Windows Mail (Vista)?... .in windows Live Mail (Vista)?
I also regularly get an alert Norton of 'Use of disc high by Microsoft Windows Search Indexer.' Gravity is the next, and what can I do to fix the problem?
Finally, I have a lot of folders: would have 2,000 emails in the Inbox Windows (Vista) slow down a computer more than if 2 000 mails were one or more files? This change of response if the e-mail is unread vs bed?
#2: the Inbox is accessible by your computer whenever he asks new messages. The fact of having 1,000 messages in the Inbox slow it down? I have no personal experience, since I never have more than a dozen or messages in my Inbox, but it is so likely. If you have lots of free space on the hard disk, the messages would be better in another folder (s). Even if you create more WinMail's local folders and move messages to them.
I would also say this. Try to compact and repair the database.

How can I place a STOP button on my toolbar. I would like to stop firefox from loading a page by pressing the STOP button, but I can't find it in the toolbar options.
First of all, if you have the menu bar show. (File-Edit-View-History-Bookmarks-Tools-Help), then you won't see the orange FireFox button because in the new version of FireFox button replaces the menu bar. You can believe that's the way you want by clicking on 'View', then place your cursor over "Toolbars" and check or uncheck menu bar. If you have the display on menu bar, click on 'View' then drag down to "Toolbars", then descend to the right and go to 'customize '; a click on it. Then, when the next screen appears, even if 'Reload' is not displayed on this topic, it appears somewhere upwards in your toolbar. (Mine was above the Google search box). Put your cursor on it and drag-and - drop to the left of your address bar. The "Stop" button should be left more than the button 'recharge' in order to get two separate buttons for these tasks. If the 'Reload' button is further to the left, then you get a single button that performs the tasks at the same time. I hope this helps.

A person supposed to be Microsoft called and said my Firewall Security Center was not working and had an ID # they said was my ID of computers that he read out to me and that I have no idea whether or not this is the ID. They wanted me to be in front of my computer and asked me to do things and wouldn't continue until I started, I started to do what they asked which of course I did NOT! I requested a call back number, and that's what he gave me:
1 855-731-4936 and his name was Fred Watson, was not American speaking, very strong foreign accent.

Nor do they send messages of anti virus - and they do not have to connect to your machine.
