Just paid for Acrobat XI and it won't turn on and start working.
The Acrobat 'help' just puts me in circles frustrating and avoids actually allowing me to contact someone for assistance. I paid for a product that won't work, even though I have a serial number. Help please?
I get a recording when I try to open a previous pdf file that tells me that the serial number is valid, but a product calling could not be found. I t asked me to choose one - I don't know what to choose, or why it asks me to choose.
You install an upgrade. The product calling it Acrobat 9 or Acrobat X. Then you just enter the serial number of your product qualifying, when asked, and the new serial number. Be sure to keep the two forever, as well as archiving a program downloaded installation is not available for download in the future.

Make sure that you have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions) installed on your computer to use the services of export to PDF as the older version of Reader support any more.
Alternatively, you can use services online at https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf
