  Recently bought a USED Dell xt2 with victory 8 pro. Touchscreen and stylus worked, did not screen rotation. Still a nice unit for the race win 8 pro. The problem is I lost my ability to touch but the pen works fine. Any suggestions?

  Even as Dr. Joe... I also upgraded Windows 10 lost touch screen and camera. I returned to Windows 8.1 and I still haven't get touch screen. I seem to have lost my drivers HID Touch Screen as well.

  I have recently reinstalled windows 8.1 on my laptop that I had problems with my new ssd (crucial mx100) cloning, reinsalling windows appearntly solved the problem. I had problems with my screen (brightness could not be adjusted) which was resolved by installing the latest using their application drivers, as Device Manager showed she had the latest drivers from intel. I don't have that a question now, the touchpad has lost its features multi-touch and windows 8.1 gestures, is anyway to fix this? I know it's probably the problem to drive but I can't really find it in Device Manager and if you can post the link of the drivers, I would really appreaciate it.

  I understand that your touch screen did not work properly then you refreshed and lost everything and the touch screen still does not work properly. I would recommend that you look at and follow the HP Support document: performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system, since you have already lost all your files, we might as well bring you right back to the factory to get everything working correctly for you.

  If however the touchscreen still does not work after the recovery of the problem that you describe seems to be a physical problem and I think it would be better if you contact HP Support for service options.

  As long as you do not Touch ID, you can adjust the amount of time before an access code is under settings > Touch ID & Passcode > require password.

  If you use Touch ID, 'Immediately' is the only option.

  Hello D_O_C.  I understand that you're wondering on the increase of the brightness in Windows 8.

  Have you plugged your AOC to another PC to see if things were going to turn?  If the monitor suddenly dimmed and then stopped working, this may be a problem with the screen itself.  I suggest to connect to another PC to test the feature.

  Also, as I know for Windows 8 brightness controls only work with "integrated devices" such as laptop screens, Tablet screens or smartphone screens.  Microsoft article has a bit more information.  An external monitor as your AOC model is supposed to be control through the keys on the screen itself.  This is the user manual for your model of monitor.  It contains information about the options available on your E2250.  It should be very useful for the brightness adjustment in the future.

  Let me know the result to hook the monitor to another PC.  I'll keep an eye out for your answer.
