I lost my key windows 7 disc premium and activation and want to install it on my new laptop.

Hello. I have a new laptop (well, it's old, and has Windows XP, but its new to me) and I discovered that you can use the same windows 3 times. I had actually Windows 7 Premium for my old laptop and an another Windows 7 Premium for my computer and another for my dads laptop, but I can't find the disks or the keys. Is it possible to get it on this laptop, without obtaining an illegal copy?

If there are other details, do not hesitate to ask, but I don't know where to find it.

You cannot use the same license to install more than one--with the exception of the limited edition Pamily Pack Upgrade (it is no longer for sale).

Your laptop may not be able to run Windows 7 in any case - have you checked?

I already bought a CS6 Design and Web Premium download. I want to install it on my new laptop, but I don't know how. I still have my series/code number produced of my purchase in December 8, 2012. What can I do for my transfer software from my old computer to my new computer?

Just install and activate it.  If you need to download the installation files, you can do so on the link below.

Your license allows you to have two active facilities, so if you have only one, you can always install on another machine without touching the original installation.  If you do not want the original installation, then you should disable at least opening one of the applications and selecting help-> Deactivate.

    No, it will not work.

Windows 7 anytime upgrade: you have Vista or XP currently installed?

If the product you have Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' does not allow to move from XP/Vista to Windows 7. You can buy the product at retail of Windows 7 Upgrade not the ' Anytime Upgrade '.

Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' is for moving from one version of Windows 7 to a higher version, such as Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.

  • I didt create a disk recovery for windows 7 Home premium, and I lost the original and the recovery partition

I didt create a disk recovery for windows 7 Home premium and I lost the original and the recovery partition, but I have still the product key and the same laptop that was originally installed with windows 7 copy and now im turning my laptop with a fake copy, how to restore the original copy of windows 7?

    Hello

You have certainly reduced your options

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).

As you have licensed preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they need to provide for a fee, if they still have them available.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.

  • Trusted sites to buy the product key Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?

Trusted sites to buy the product key Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?

Windows 7 product keys are not sold separately, any site claiming to sell Windows 7 product keys are sold separately no doubt hoarded non-genuine product keys from TechNet and MSDN subscriptions.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

  • I need to activate my windows 7 Home premium and when I look at the bottom of my computer product key essentially disappeared... What can I do to get my product key?

I need to activate my windows 7 Home premium and when I look at the bottom of my computer product key essentially disappeared... What can I do to get my product key?

Option 1: You will need to invest in a new license.

Option 2: If your computer comes with a recovery partition, use to reinstall Windows 7, it will exempt the need to have a product key.

Option 3. Ask a recovery disk set from the manufacturer of your computer and use it to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to have a product key too.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

    ------------------------------------

This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

  • I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full.

I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full. I don't understand how he got that way... but... I've never used windows to the top, however I do back up with my Norton Security.  I'm not a COMPUTER guru AT ALL and am very confused as to what must be saved for me to do a system restore.  I just made a backup on a 16 GB usb flash drive, which included photos, documents, email, contacts and music.  But what of my registry or my drivers I've updated on the latest updates of 2 years and windows?

So in plain English for the layperson to the computer, lol, can someone tell me...

    1. where should I back up to? (windows, norton?)

    2. what should I back up? EXACTLY, please. lol (I have hundreds of games, I don't want to back to the top if possible)

3 and... HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I HAVE AVAILABLE WHILE TRYING THIS. LOL just kidding. Laughing out loud

    Hello

Updates must be installed in a certain order and no Service Pack must be installed unless and until it is offered through Windows Update.

    However, try these options:

Step 1: You can not reuse what already automatically downloaded and installed. You can however save updates and install them manually if you wish.

Step 2: You can create a system image on the computer. A system image is an exact copy of a disc. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. In addition, it includes Windows and your system settings, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working.

  • I bought Windows Vista Home Premium and got a free upgrade to Windows 7. Can I install Vista on a second computer and still be legal?

I bought Windows Vista Home Premium and got a free upgrade to Windows 7, which I have installed on Computer1.  Can I install Vista on a second computer computer2 and still be legal?

Is same question with versions of Microsoft office, if I have multiple versions allowed to install an earlier version on a second computer and stay legal?

No, unfortunately not, when you upgraded to Windows 7 indeed renounce you your right to use Vista. But keep the product key and Vista media where you need to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 again.

For MS Office (according to license as some allow multiple installations) If this older version is not in use you can install it on this computer second no questioned asked.
