I lost one of the recovery disks for my Satellite L550 - 1 9

Hello

I tried to format my laptop on the other day, but I found only two of my recovery disks. Is there a possible way to get a free third-party records, or do I have to buy all three disks?

Thank you in advance,

Krzysztof Cioch

As far as I know, you cannot order that a DVD is missing. What you can do is original recovery disk command on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If the computer has been legitimately loaded the system was probably loaded with Windows 7 offered by restorative authorized Microsoft program.

If this is the case it is NOT the same as an OEM license, so all references to OEM can be ignored.

It is extremely likely that the disk has been erased in together and although she had the recovery image Dimension 520 (DM061) would never have Windows 7. Refurbishers should ensure that old data from the original owner has been removed and the best way to make this guarantee is to wipe the drive.

MAR labels are normally not brown not blue/green of normal Windows COA labels. Microsoft requires that all systems sold with Windows MUST have supplied brackets or the ability for the end user to create his own. Like most of March did not have the means to install the utilities of creating media they should provide some of the disc without X 17-03434-02 (32 bit) X 17-03482-02 (64-bit) for 7 Pro. When a license of MAR is applied the repairer may do so only to a system that has a license for Windows (from XP) and this COST should remain so you should find two COA labels.

But if your laptop is a bit older so maybe an ASP in your country could help you order this disc

In very rare cases you will not be able to order a disk if your computer laptop would be belongs to a series of abandoned

In this case, you will need to install the OS from the MS Windows CD

  • Help! Maybe I need the recovery disc for pavilion d4790y... + I think I messed...

I had problems with my office for awhile now, think it might be a fan, virus, hard drive or ram as in my previous post... the computer would freeze/crash or not stop, requiring a firm hard. trying to reboot/restart computer, it would beep several times until I have let it sit for a few minutes, then everything was back to normal (found that might have been an error in the BIOS after all this happened)...

Now, I have NOT touched or replaced all the components on my computer at all. Nothing! Now I have a debate on the upgrade of OS and RAM, but did not decide whether it was worth on this older machine. So I have done no amendment or change in software. the only change I made to it was not renew norton and goes with vast (free).

The other day, it suddenly wouldn't boot Win Vista 32 in all. My monitor at startup (before config utility appears) had colored vertical lines across the screen. I immediately thought 'virus' or ' fan isn't card graphic blown is screwed/false driver downloaded... I enter safe mode with network, no problem with the monitor (no lines) and tried driver restore, but also to download nividia the updated. Nothing seemed to work except safe mode (s), system configuration, start the Setup program, CTRL I (don't remember which menu is), & screen of the system restore/repair/diagnose. I tried all the reboot thing pilots config, patterns of change (hard disk only), boot it. When you go to the splash screen (a back screen on startup), no line either... I tried the system restore, did not a thing... I tried the verification of diagnosis, all right... all equipment, the repair of the system did nothing...

So I take the side box power off to check the components inside to see if any wiring was loose, fans not working/salty, etc... everything OK there besides fan a little dirty. Clean, same thing. Here comes the fun part...

Now, I backed up all my files and 'backup' on my external hard drive... I thought that I had made the recovery discs or he had came with it when I bought it... I changed the configuration settings RAID0 by removing the old installation and turned to the raid no drives. Then, I created a RAID0 again... I guess you know where this is going...

He said now insert the boot cd... Now, it of not anything but let me in Control Panel and change the startup preferences...

I have no recovery disk or I can't find what happened if I have... with backup (for USB) external drives will not work... I kind of looking online hp without result and I saw some online, but that seems pretty shady, especially with the case of the OS...

I will not buy another office, if I can help it, but I need to know if there is something I can do?

    Thank you

    .

    Hello:

Yes, I've been able to do it once, but you also need an operating system installation disk. You need a USB FDD + OS installation disc and the correct drivers of course on the floppy drive.

You can use a recovery for this drive yet. It must be an OS installation disc.

Yes have ultimate could be a problem. If you enter your model number on this site of surgeons in the computer, you get a lot of options showing the recovery disks for different versions of the OS, but only had listed actually drives.

You need to call HP and ask or email these surgeons computer guys and see if they have the recovery disc for ultimate games.

  • Pavilion 4070 - us: new hard drive for the recovery disks do not work! Help!

Hi - the hard drive on my Pavilion 4070 - crashed us, so I bought a replacement - a Samsung SSD 850 EVO, 256GB drive.  The problem is that I can't seem to get the recovery disks to work, and neither Microsoft nor HP is willing to help me.  Of course, Microsoft tells me they don't give me any help for Windows7 OEM versions and HP said that my product is no longer supported so they do not help me.  This is ridiculous - I own a legal copy of Windows 7 and I can't get any help from the company who sold me the computer?

What happens when I go through the process of installation with the recovery discs, is that instead of the Windows installation continue as it is supposed to, I have "no boot device - insert boot disk and press any key any."  I'm desperate, I tried two different options - one was the minimum image recovery, the other was a factory restore.  Nothing seems to work. What can I do?   Moreover, the original hard drive is not * completely * dead - I can still access most of the data on it.

    Hi guys,.

I have a Satellite L30 and need to completely reinstall Vista but I lost my recovery CD

    Help, please

    Hello!

Are you sure it's the recovery disk?
What is the content of the CD if you find Windows to display the contents of the CD/DVD?

These messages appear normally if the CD is noisy and so it can t be read properly or in the worst cases the CD/DVD drive is faulty and should be replaced. :(

    Good bye

Satellite A100-784, I had, but I lost the recovery disk and I want to restore the PC

    What should I do?

    Pleas help me

You should contact the ASP in your country if you wish to order a new.

But if you want to restore only the operating system installed you can then also use a clean Windows CD.
After installing Windows, you can download drivers Toshiba of the European driver Toshiba page!

  • The recovery disks do not work for the hard drive replaced in my Presario CQ4010F desktop PC

    Hi all

I have a Compaq Presario CQ4010F Desktop PC (Windows 7 64-bit) in which the hard drive went bad. I bought a new hard drive which is a 1 to, the failed drive was 500 GB. So, I ordered disks system recovery, four in total. The disk labeled 'Use this first!' appear to be running fine, then prompted me to launch the next disc, which I assume is the 1 of 3 system recovery disk. With the computer, always, I inserted the CD 1 of 3 and have waited and watched as nothing has happened. I restarted the PC with the 3 disc 1 again and that will inspire nothing happened. Any help is appreciated in this matter.

    Hello:

If you can't get the recovery disks to work (don't make sure that the keyboard, mouse and monitor are connected), then you can make your own windows 7 installation DVD and use that to at least get windows 7 installed and your PC back to the operation.

    Here's how.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • Lost one of the two hard disks? Help!

So I'll preface this by saying clearly, I'm a noob.

I received a HP 9730nr laptop and reinstalled Windows Vista from the recovery disks that I had burned.

The system came with 320 GB of hard drive space. 160 x 2. Well now my system seems to only recognize one of these drives. Once the adjustment I now see under computer: OS (C :) 136GB and HP_Recovery (d) 12 GB.

Can someone help me try to find how to set my computer to recognize the other hard drive? Since it clearly has not just pull out the laptop and fly away, I really see how I can get it back.

    Thank you!

Ah ok! Right-click on "Unallocated space" and click on create the partition.

  • Satellite Pro A210 - how to retrieve it with the recovery disk lost?

I had some problems with my individual Pro A210 (AMD Athlon 64 x 2, Vista, 120 GB of HDD, 2 GB of RAM), and it seems that I did the recovery disks when new and you have misplaced them.

    What can I do?

The hard disk should have a recovery Partition.

Try holding down the zero (0) key when you turn on the laptop, this should start the recovery process.

If this does not work, press F8 rapidly after the Toshiba start screen to enter in the Windows Start menu, where you can choose to run the recovery/restore.
