I'm having a problem of system image backup. Whenever I try a backup I get the following response "there is not enough disk space to create the volume shadow copy on the storage location.

I use Windows 7 Pro.  My target drive is drive ext WD 2 TB MY PASSPORT and my source drive is an internal 1 TB WD drive, I also tried to make a copy of the image using a 3 TB external drive Seagate Replica.  Two targets readers have had a least 1.5 TB of free space.  The source drive has 720 GB of free space.  My computer has 16 GB of memory.  In addition, while I am now using Windows backup and restore I tried also to use the Seagate Software.  I was able to make a copy of clone of my partition to the C drive on a 1 TB Passport drive

Hi Steve,.

You get an error code?

This error comes usually when the system reserved 100 MB hidden partition created by Windows 7 does not have enough space to store a cliché. Please check the free space on this volume. Follow the following steps:

I suggest you perform the steps mentioned in this similar discussion.

Not enough space on the backup discs to use VSS.

    Original title: backup error

If you use windows 7 home premium backup & restore to backup errors program and says that there is not enough disk space when there are 1.2 to and the space required is 60 GB. Any suggestions?

Check very carefully that the insufficient space, the error message can be generated by the disk you want to save not necessarily the destination drive.

Backup Windows uses the VSS service who need free space on the drive to work. The cause is a lack of space on the system reserved partition and is generated by the VSS recorder.

  • Not enough disk space when creating ISO from DVD image

I use first elements 14.1.  I encountered a very strange problem when you try to create an ISO image DVD, editing content in the available space (space required is 4.35 GB 5.12 Mbps throughput).  I get the message ' not enough space for the engraving', even if the drive I use has more than 1.5 TB of free space!  All files work in Premiere Elements are on this drive.  I cleaned all the relevant elements of the first, work folders before attempting to create the ISO image.

Here's the weird part... If I try to create an ISO image of a Blu - Ray disc, editing of content space (space required is 18,87 GB to 20.19 Mbps bitrate), I don't get the error message.  I can create the ISO image of Blu - Ray with no problem!

I tried to reboot several times.  I completely uninstalled EP 14.1, rebooted and reinstalled with the same results.

Someone at - it ideas?  Has anyone ever encountered this?

The running time is 1 hour 50 minutes.  I chose "Insert the contents of the available space", just as I did when creating the ISO from Blu - Ray.  PE shows that seeks to create a 4.35 GB file, which should easily fit on a 4.7 GB DVD.  I just tried open the same project on another computer and the same generation of PE, with the same result.

I think I discovered a bug freak EP Version 14.1 (20151208.daily.895401).  The exact length of the film is 1:50:16:08.  I discovered that if I increase or decrease the duration of the video of just 1 frame, I is no longer the mistake and am able to successfully create a picture ISO of DVD!  Go figure.

I would be interested to know if anyone else can duplicate this fault!

  • Not enough disk space to convert the iPhoto photo library

My wife iPhoto library has about 9 500 photos. She has a MacBook Air, which has limited hard disk space, so we put his iPhoto library on a SD card (which is still in its SD slot). We decided to convert the iPhone photo library. When the process is started, it happens about 4% on the progress bar when a popup said that there is not enough disk space to perform the task (said to 72GO). How can I complete this process? She wants to ensure its iPhone and iPad Air can all share all the photos via iCloud. Can I put the library of Photos on the SD card too? Once the synchronization of library of Photos with iCloud, not all large digital images disappear from MacBook Air and only a miniature remain (like on the iPhone and the iPad)?

I decided to try the procedure on my original post on my MacBook Pro.

I copied the Library.photoslibrary Photos of my MBP to an external hard drive connected to my MBP.

I did an "Option" + then click on 'Photos' selected the "Library.photoslibrary Photos" on my external hard drive. This produces the following pop-up message:

"This library contains items to download from iCloud photo library".

"To download the complete library, delete the incomplete elements, then set this library as the library of the system preferences and activate iCloud photo library. This will disable iCloud photo library on other libraries. »

"Delete the incomplete items" or "quit".

I clicked on "Quit" and posted above.

  • In time real PXI-1031 does more work with labview. "Not enough disk space to perform the backup.

The labview real-time project was working until a few weeks ago and the only error that is displayed on the PXI is this error message.

"NEITHER Configuration Manager: not enough disk space for the backup" everything before that looks like it starts very well. Recently, I removed the hard drive and remove the 4 GB network log file because it seemed to me that a file of 4 GB on a fat32 file system was probably the cause of the problem. After that it the project worked when I tested it, but others in my lab said it was broken again the next day.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I don't know all that equipment.

I found that I had "reset IP" set to "yes" in the bios that seemed to be causing my problem because I changed it to no and it seems to work perfectly now. Sorry that it took so much time to understand and I feel like a fool.

We will cover all the possibilities.

    1. download each of the tools for deletion below, save it to your desktop:

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all software (including LiveUpdate and Add-ons of Norton) Norton through Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view)

Not based on what? You have not provided any information as to the amount of space you have left and what is the total capacity of your iPad. He must leave a certain percentage of the free capacity at all times, so if you have a 32GB device and you are up to 2 GB of free storage, which could in fact be severed close... If it says you need to 194.8 MG of free space that would be in addition to the amount that you see as free space.

It also depends on what you're trying to sync on iTunes as well. What content, apps, songs, etc.

So... can provide you more details?

    Hello

    ·         The question is limited only with Real Player?

    Method 1:

You can try running Disk Cleanup in Windows XP, which will safely remove unused files from the computer and check if that tool:

Description of the tool in Windows XP disk cleanup

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310312

    Method 2:

You can try to install the latest codec pack from the Web site by using one of your favorite search engines and check if it helps:

  • Compacting files: I get the message, "not enough disk space.

Compaction stops, a message on "not enough disk space. I tried to delete the .msf file and also delete "inbox." Nothing works.

The kind of details that really your search does not exist. Once I looked for something similar and some of these topics, I'm still trying to learn more.

But I can offer some advice.

IMAP. Words like Subscribe riffle and quota, inherent to the IMAP protocol and are not terms that you will find are defined in Thunderbird, or he has documentation. They are defined terms in the IMAP protocol, see RFC 3501

Their isn't a such thing as a remote folder, but IMAP is synchronized. essentially local copies of the mail are a cache to speed up performance, although there are options for do not keep local copies. My experience is that it's slow. I'm assuming that IMAP, it is that what you call remote folders.

Size limits on technical terms are difficult. Historically, Thunderbird has a limit of 4 GB per file. This has been deleted way back to IMAP. local POP e-mail accounts and local folder still have the limit, or at least bug if you exceed the limit. Whenever the developers think they killed the bugs, another arises.

What files are compacted. Why all of them! Compaction has a dual purpose. In IMAP account it purge deleted mail from the server (a permanent deletion) locally the large amounts of wasted space are compacted to recover used space again by mail folders as being deleted. The physical elimination of the deleted mail only occurs during compact.

Remove folder is as simple as right clicking them and selecting Remove. Some special folders and the local folders account space simply cannot be deleted.

There is a manual here http://en.flossmanuals.net/Thunderbird/ but I do not think that it deals with the issues you have raised.

  • When you try to create the simple volume, I get "There is not enough available space on the disks to complete this operation." Even when there is obviously a lot of space.

I just installed Windows 7 Professional in the last hour and was not able to create this partition during the installation.  Now that I'm in disk management.  It's showing I 73,24 GB of free space.  What I'm trying to do in the end, is to combine this with a partition already created.  One thing I find strange is anytime I go into "new simple volume" it tells me that the maximum space in MB is 74997 when the free space on the graph shows me only 73,24 GB.  I tried to create the size of the volume to 73000 MB and have also tried 10000MB and get to every time the same mistake!  "There is not enough available space on the disks to complete this operation."  What can I do to fix this?

Your best bet is a third party partition manager.

With the tools of Windows 7, you can only shrink and extend partitions, apart from the creation and deletion of them.

Disk manufacturers quote their sizes of disc in decimal format. Windows Go are 2 ^ 10 or 1024 decimal MB. Then 74997/1024 is 73,24 GB.
