I'm not setting the 'RADIUS' widgets when I create new forms.

I'm NEW to Illustrator, but a user of long date PS.

I just started trying to learn to use Illustrator.

I use at the moment, on a Win7x64 CS6 machine.

The first tutorial that I started watching showed the appearance of 'Ray widgets' in the corners of a new rectangle that allow to change the radius of the corners. Similar widgets seem to allow to change the number of sides in a polygon.

Am I failing to implement properly?

I use a version that doesn't do this?

Is this something that only works in a MAC environment?

Can someone take the time to let me know before I waste a lot of time, trying to do something that my other special/OS/or version... won't.

Thank you

JP

CS6 didn't live corners.
