I'd appreciate any help.
Denge75 looks like there is an incorrect entry in your registry for Photoshop Lightroom. I recommend you to uninstall Lightroom 5.3. One times removed, then please also use Microsoft Fixit to solve the problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled to remove all entries for Photoshop Lightroom renaming.
You should then be able to download and install Lightroom 5.5 directly from Adobe - Lightroom: for Windows.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum. The first thing I would suggest running a virus scan. Make sure you have no virus causing problems. If you do not have an antivirus program, then you can download it free here: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_essentials/If there is no virus or it still does not work after virus cleaning, then start in safe mode and test from there. Here are the instructions for Safe Mode.

Lost files
I recently had to restore my computer to a previous configuration. I can't find one of my documents or images. My computer says files already exist, but I can't locate them. If they were not destroyed, where should I look for them? Thank you.Hello Wayne Morrison,
Thanks for the return of the response. Did you run a full scan with your antivirus software or malware/spyware programs? I would do this first so that we can get this resolved, if something is found.
The malware removal
I would then review the link below so that you can try to access your documents. Please let us know status.
After doing a restore of the system under XP, today lost bookmarks and folders from the Windows XP documentation

I bought a Dell in 2008 with Microsoft office 2007. The Bill says only an invoice number, but not the registration number of 25 characters. I think it must be in the computer somewhere but I can not find it.
I did a quick google and found the following site that can help,

I would try some of the tools which they suggest.

Ideas: i had a problem and wanted to restore my system to a date 2 weeks ago, but may not know how get the date of the restoration to show. How are you?
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Of course, it should work, but sometimes it doesn't.
If provide you more information and describe what "cannot operate" means to you exactly, we can help to understand.
Doesn't the system restore just not launch (open) at all?
You are not able to select a Restore Point in the calendar of the Restore Points?
If you see some sort of message indicating that the system restore did not work, say the message?
Have you ever used successfully the system restore in the past?
What is your system brand and model? What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly. For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:Depending on what you use for malware protection, you will maybe disable the product temporarily, make the system restore and then turn on the product.Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore. Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore. It works for some configurations.System Restore is sometimes so afflicted or Restore Points are suspicious, the best solution is to reinstall your system restore. This will remove the old Restore Points, but sometimes it's the only way to fix a broken system restore. You don't have to reinstall XP, only the part of system restore. That can leave you with your problem of unspecified origin that you hope the system restore will fix (using a system restore is usually not equivalent to fixing the problem though).Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware. It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary. No matter what you use for protection against malware, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/It can be uninstalled later if you wish. The scans by operating clean, reboot, test and we can fix any other issues.Do, or do not. There is no test.

I did a system restore and the files are still there, but I can't find the location.
I did a restore on my Windows XP system because I was not able to access my desktop because the password entry bar giving access to the Office not show up no matter how many times I rebooted the computer.
When I made the recovery of the system, he said that my files were not going to be deleted, all programs were still there, but the photos, videos and music were gone from My Documents.
So I tried to find on the C drive, I thought that maybe they had just moved somewhere else. I even went in the folder options to show hidden folders, but the files are not in one of these folders.
However I know that the files are still there, because when I look at the properties of the drive C with the right click of the mouse, it says drive C is always full, as it was before the system recovery. So this means that the files are still there but I don't know where.
I have lots of family photos and videos that I want back. These are the only things I want to get back and maybe my music files.
Any ideas how I can find these files or the folder that contains the? Perhaps through MS-DOS or something like that? I have external hard drives to copy if I find them.
Maybe this will help you:

I can't find the book that I wrote on my computer
I wrote my first book with the title above - following page 331. Now I can not find anywhere in my computer.
Can you help me?
Aida
Many word processing programs have a list of recently used files - if so try selecting it from there.
Try to do a full search of your computer for this:
1. press the button of Windows Logo + E (open Windows Explorer).
2. Select the computer in the left pane.
3. type the name of the book in the search (top-right) box and press ENTER. If you don't remember no filename fulll try to use a generic search such as.doc .doc what file format you saved the book in.
(wait for research to be completed)
P.S. If you do something like writing a book, I highly recommend that you frequently back up the file on an external drive.
