Need help to access the Panel Associations value so I can open the docs have no association, according to the error message that I receive
Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
You need a program on your system to open these documents (file types), and the program must be associated with the file type. Go to start / Default programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program and scroll down to the types of files of these documents. Can the default program open this type of file or the file type is same? If this isn't the case, you will need to install a software that can read and open possibly work with the types of files in question. Exactly which types of files you can not read (what are their extensions - the three digit after the name of the file identifier). ? If you do not see the extension, go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / View / and uncheck Hide extensions of known and then file types try to look at the files again.
Please post back with results or if you have other issues (as may have answered your question).
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Just updated after receiving the message 2 days ago for updating firefox again (am away from page please do not ask which version... it is the most recent) there are NO visible BROWSER and cannot find anywhere. I'm not if tech savy I don't have to hunt for the basic functionality. If I understand what "browser" stand for: I understand that it is the place where you type in the necessary Web site? as in: www.nobrower.com please answer very simple and easy to understand language Jack
One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

I lost everything in the top menu bar and I can't find a way to recover
I don't know what I've done, but all of a sudden I lost everything at the top of the page record to a string that contains 'Bing' yuck, MSN, news, video, and other things I didn't and never use. But I can find a way to regain its default format of Mozilla. I deleted firefox and relaoded three times. Unfortunately, it does not help
This has happened
Each time Firefox opened
== about a week before, right after that I downloaded and talk to me on the phone, and do not not paying attention that I clicked on nearby
You can hide the menu bar in Firefox 3.6 on Windows, on "view > toolbars" or via the contextual right click menu on a toolbar.
Press in and hold the Alt key to display the menu bar.
Go to "view > toolbars", right click on the menu bar, or press Alt + V T to select the toolbars to show or hide. -
It doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the position in which the lines get shortened. OK, there is a menu item "Wrap", but if the lines are already too short or too long.
Try to paste the terminal output lines in an email looks like lame because of unwanted packaging.
Look for this setting in the configuration editor
