  • After you have reinstalled Windows, I am unable to install my Ethernet drivers

    original title: driver help

I reinstalled windows xp on my compaq.  My enternet driver does not update and has a yellow question mark in Device Manager.  What can I do about it?  I searched all over the internet and don't know what to do?

Find out what brand / model of the computer. Go to some site, look for the model. Download and then install the drivers for the chipset first, followed of LAN, sound. And all that is in this case.

Do not get the drivers of anywhere. You can find them in the one that makes the computer / motherboard / everything that is in this case.

In your case, they will be somewhere on the HP site . You must download on another computer first that ethernet works (the drivers are not installed, so you'll not on the net)

  • Unable to connect to the internet after you have reinstalled Windows

It came with Vista on it, but it is basically screwed up... There was no recovery disk... so I did a clean install with a XP disk... all right except that I can't get on the internet... In the OTHER DEVICES ethernet controller PCI device, PCI Modem, SM Bus controller, unknown device and video controller (VGA Compatible) are all highlighted with a yellow question mark... Try to find the driver with my son's computer, but everything I find says that there in an internet search... until this problem is fixed, I can't connect to internet... Help, please! Thank you!!

    Hi Dreman1970,

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

Of yellow exclamation, PCI Modem and other devices Ethernet controller describes the drivers necessary for the device are missing.

I suggest you use another computer connected to the internet to find your manufacturer's Web site. Then you need to find the driver to download links for your computer model. Once you have downloaded the drivers, you can transfer them to your computer and install them. Once the drivers are installed, you will be able to connect to the internet.

  • Try installing Acrobat Pro XI and the installer says I already have a more functional version installed.  What I installed is XI Acrobat Standard, but I want to install Acrobat Pro 11.  I owe unitstall Standard for install Pro?

I try to install Acrobat Pro XI, but the installer says I already have a more functional version installed. What is installed on my PC is Acrobat XI Standard, which I don't consider to be a more functional version. What I actually need to uninstall the version Standard in order to be able to install the Pro version?

Ugh!  I have PitStop Pro 12 installed in Acrobat Standard XI as a 3rd party plug-ins.  Do you know by chance that will survive the uninstalling XI standard and installed in XI Pro?

If this isn't the case, then I have to turn off before the Standard uninstall, reinstall it after the installation of Pro and then re-enable it.

Even though I hate the answer you provided, thank you to answer and do it very quickly.

  • network card and other missing drivers after you have installed windows 7 ultimate on my elitebook 8540w

HP Elitebook 8540w, model WH137AW #ABA - this laptop and was previously running a trial version of windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I wanted to install windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. I chose to install instead of upgrade that I assumed that the demo version was not expandable. Before the installation, I was able to connect to a wireless network with success. After you have installed windows 7 ultimate successfully, I was more able to connect or see all the networks. The diagnosis error indicates that I can miss a network card, or if I don't have one, the driver may need to be reinstalled. I saw a previous post and answer that looked very similar, but the difference is that I am out of my network card driver, so I'm not able to download any other drivers. -help me please!

Yes... you can do. If you get confused on what to install, please provide the hardware ID.

HardwareID: (open start, type devmgmt.msc and press on enter.) Double-click on a device. Choose the Details tab, then the hardware in the menu ID drop-down).

  • 'Unable to install acrobat DC' because it is already installed. But it's not. Neither did - it summer.

With the help of Windows 10 (also a problem with Windows 7) on the series M Lenovo ThinkCentre with CPU i7 and 8 GB of RAM.

    (1) I tried to install it in creative cloud Manager. The result was the error message "unable to install Acrobat DC. Cannot install Acrobat DC. To update Acrobat DC uninstall the existing version of Acrobat. »

    (2) in the Manager of Creative cloud, next to the button update to Acrobat DC, there is a button manage Application Dropdown. This button gives me the possibility to uninstall the program. If I don't have that, then on the banner of the Manager it says it's uninstall Acrobat X (0%) for about 1 second.

As there is no version of Acrobat DC listed in programs and features, I uninstalled Acrobat X. even result. In the file Explorer, in C:/Program Files/Adobe, there is no directory for Acrobat. In (32 x) C:/Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat, there is a directory for Acrobat 10.0. There is no evidence that DC Acrobat had everything installed.

I have now deleted the directory Acrobat 10.0 (such as the software has been uninstalled) and received the same questions as in (1) and (2).

Please let me know how to clean the registry database or perform some other efforts, that's why I get Acrobat to the top of race!

    Hi andrews4555768,

If Acrobat X is the stand-alone version one then please try to uninstall completely using this cleanup tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs.

Restart your system and then try to download Acrobat Dc from the CC desktop application.

Ok.  Go to assume this is a Windows based machine on...

Unlicense Acrobat DC (so you don't "burn" a license.)

Uninstall Acrobat DC (programs & features).

    Reset

Try to uninstall Acrobat 9 (once again, programs & features).

Download and run the Adobe Reader Acrobat & Cleaner tool - Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

    Reset.

Check that the A9 and assorted pieces is really gone.

Try to install ADC.  If it works, the installation of the license.

Another tool that I had a lot of success in cleaning after installs wandering and apps is Priform CCLEANER - CCleaner - optimization of the PC and cleaning - Free Download .  Use at your own risk, but as I said - I had a lot of luck with it.

    I hope this helps.
