  • Open a pdf document that has attachments inside on a mobile

I have a pdf file with attachments on the inside, I'm opening on a mobile device.

It opens correctly on my desktop, but mobile, attachments do not show.

    No idea why?

    Hi Willy,.

We have received your PDF document by e-mail.  Thank you!

We have reviewed your PDF document and discovered that two HTML files are fixed as annotations of the type "FileAttachment '.

Here are two ways to attach files to a PDF with Acrobat Pro (for example).

Method A: attach files and embedded files

    1. Open a PDF document.
    2. Open attachments navigation pane.
    3. Click the Options button.
    4. Select Add an attachment on the menu that appears.

B method: attach files in the form of annotations

    1. Open a PDF document.
    2. Click the attachment in the toolbar.

Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone) mobile application support embedded attached files (added using the method) but doesn't support file attachment annotations (added using method B).  We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have the desktop version of Acrobat Pro, you can perform the following steps to re - join the files using A method to avoid the problem of compatibility with mobile applications of Acrobat Reader.

    1. Open your PDF document with attachments in Acrobat Pro.
    2. Open attachments navigation pane.
    3. Select a file displayed in the attachments navigation pane.
    4. Click the Options button.
    5. Select Save the attachment to save the file on your desktop.
    6. Click the Options button.
    7. Select delete attachment.
    8. Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion.
    9. Click the Options button.
    10. Select Add an attachment to re - attach the saved to a PDF file.  (Alternatively, you can drag and drop a file on the navigation of attachment pane.)
    11. Repeat steps 3 through 10 for each file.
    12. Save the PDF document.

In this way, the portable versions of Acrobat Reader can open attachments.

If you do not have the desktop version of Acrobat Pro, you can try the free trial version of 30 days to see if it meets your needs.

  • Remove the component tools preferably set when opening the PDF documents

I was unable to locate a permanent function of Hide to hide "Tools Pane" overall upward.  I don't want all the icon tools displayed every time I open a PDF document. I want to just look at a full page of the document on screen and access the tools if and when I need them.

    Hoping someone can help me.

    Thank you

If you are using the latest version of Reader (Acrobat Reader DC), you can do the following:

    1. go in the Edit menu. then Preferences..., select the 'Documents' category on the left (the second from the top) and in the right, uncheck "pane open tools for each document. Press OK to dismiss the preferences pane.

    2. then open any PDF file and hide the pane tools by SHIFT + F4 or by clicking on the thin partition between the page and the tool pane.

    3 close the player.

In the next time on when you use the drive, you do not see the tool pane. You can still get it by clicking on the thin margin to the right of the display of the page (where the Tools pane will remain hidden) and activate it by activating the preference above again permanently.

    Hope that helps!

  • Can't open a pdf document

I had the trial for Acrobat XI.  The trial period ended.  I bought the subscription.  Now, whenever I try to open a pdf document, the first window opens and the pdf file does not open.  It is urgent and I need to open the document now.  If I can't solve this problem quickly, I'll cancel my recent order.  Help, please.

    Hi Todd,

On the trial window you click on "Software license" and use your Adobe ID to update the licensed software.

The purchased subscription is linked to your Adobe ID

You can use your search engine preferred to download a third-party converter and try to convert them to check and document pdf.

  • Windows 8 - How to open the PDF documents and start application Menu choices in the Office of current work?

I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 Professional.

A question that I have, is that whenever I try to open a PDF document, it always opens in a new window dedicated, with a totally black background.

Is it possible to open PDF documents on the desktop, so I can see the content PDF, on the same page as all my other apps open?

Under earlier versions of Windows, can I go to the start menu, then select all applications, and they are listed in the form of office, as all my other applications already open.

In Windows 8 Professional, I have not found a way to reproduce this behavior again!

It keeps taking me to a completely different screen.  The one who looks like he could have been created for use with tablets.

I hate this behavior on my regular PC and want to know if there is a way to use the old and classic views.

I don't want to open the application menu in a separate window.

So, two questions: 1) is there a way to open the PDF documents in the current working window?   (2) is there a way to disable the display of screen separate application and return to the old start menu request window, in the current working window?

If you're running Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

David suggestion given in link Reo has been good. It applies to your Windows 8.1 also, but I suggest you use system recovery console refresh option so that most of the files and settings are retained after the repair facility & you start Windows like new.

    http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/26095-repair-install-Windows-8-a.html

But I see that you used the built in HARD drive recovery partition to restore to factory settings. You could go to cooling initially system as try here also. Happy anyway, he started to work for you!

  • Password to open protected PDF

I use the program AcrobatPDFOCX of control in a Visual Basic 2005 to open and view PDF documents.  I have several PDF files protected by word that I want to open with this control.  Here is the command I use to open a PDF file

    AxAcroPDF1.LoadFile (Application.StartupPath + "\" + filename + ".") PDF")

When this command runs for a PDF protected password I am asked to provide the password.  Is there a way to pass the password programmatically from VB to the password protected PDF file to open.

    No, it isn't.

    Hello

When you have the form open in the LC Designer, go to file / form properties...

The PDF Security tab allows you to check to force the user to enter a password to open the form. If you tick this then the next time that you save the file, you will be asked to set the password. When users try to open the form in Acrobat, they must enter the password.

Note the second option sets a password to open the form in the designer of the LC. If you do not set this password, so a user can bypass your password by opening the form in LC, deselect the required password and disabling passwords. Have a read of the help file for more information.

    Good luck

  • I want that on my work machine to require a password to open the portal showing my Thunderbird emails. Is this possible?

I want to check e-mails while I'm at work, but I have not exclusive use of the machine that I use, so I don't want Thunderbird to open at all, without a password.

As it is at the present time, the incoming message headers and Thunderbird Portal are visible when I hit Thunerbired.exe and e-mails can be open, although the account cannot send emails without entering my password (that I didn't save).

I'm sure there must be a simple solution to this issue - but I'm not

It depends on how "strong" you need the protection either, so a 'low' using the ProfilePassword extension method may be enough.

  • Change the settings to open the PDF document.

    Hello;

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.13.

I am a link to two adobe files on my site, but they appear differently. How can I change the settings on an adobe PDF for when the file is opened?

This is how the first link opens the PDF file in the browser (internet explore). It includes the PDF tools and other options which I don't want.

    Capture.PNG

This is how the second link shows the PDF in the browser (internet explore). It shows just the PDF page and that's it. That's what I need.

    Capture2.PNG

I need both to display as the other, but I can't seem to know how to do it in the settings of Adobe.

I opened the two files in the actual file where they are drawn / related to and open them in the same way as the above examples. It seems that there is a way to change the view/settings by default when a PDF document is open. I tried changing the settings in preferences, edition, Page view among a few other places, but can't seem to get anything to stick.

    1. go to file > properties

    2. in the Document Properties window, select the tab view original

    4. in the properties of the Document window, in the section of User Interface Options, make your customizations

    5. in the Document Properties window, click the Ok button

    6. go to file > save

    7. close the document

    8 open the document
