  (1) you can click on View (WMP12),

  (2) choose the columns.

  You don't know if you still experience the issue, but the issue is actually the audio decoder of fddshow he creates ' we screen display. When the video plays just right click on the blue icon of "Financing for development" in the taskbar, then click on "OSD" assuming that there is a check mark beside (which does not exist in your case).

  Pin this WMP icon in the Task bar by right clicking on it. Now look at WMP in the program, menu-right click and select PIN to the taskbar. This helps.

I can almost guarantee you if Microsoft used the MusicBrainz data, Windows Media Player would be much easier for the Organization of the music. Data MusicBrainz are much better quality than WMP user feedback data.
