• Need help formatting pages

  I do a monthly newsletter for the Church. There are a dozen sections. 'Finance', 'K', 'music' etc. I have the section headings in the text boxes.  They are placed in a certain order in the newsletter. As I work at the entrance of content, section titles stay put so I'll never have to move the section headings where there is content is passed to. (Articles are of different lengths each month: (tray of food for example) can only use 1/2 column a month but then the entire page to another). It's a document pages usually 10 2 column or more. Guess the bottom line is, is I there a way to have a stay content sections specific with the title of the section, while I continue to work on the document?

  Maybe a clearer example: if I have the finished newsletter and then need to add more content to the first page, of course everything moves but aren't section titles. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... Karen

  Object Placement: Move with text

  Skin: In line with the text

  and make fun of the text with the text in the usual, saved as styles and formatting converted text to space reserved:

  Menu > Format > advanced > define as placeholder text

  

  You can format the paragraph text boxes are sitting in a standard before and after spacing and save as a Style too.

• DV7-7333 CL. : need help formatting has replaced hard drive in my laptop

  Greetings,

  I received instructions from HP another volunteer on a bad hard drive replacement. I replaced the hard drive with a new and need someoe to please guide me how to format my new drive hard back to the WIN 10 I had installed on the former. I also buy a 22 pin adapter usb to SATA.

  Another agent said that Windows 10 can be reinstalled on a new drive hard if your installation has been activated before. The activation servers Microsoft just know your computer and will be reactive. You must Access the media creation tool and have it make a bootable DVD player or you need a usb thumb drive at least 4 GB.

  I am in Germany but still do not know the language well enough and could not find a tool for creating Windows Media version in English free repacement.

  I don't know what to do to format my new hard drive... Please help!

  PROBLEM SOLVED (FINALLY)! I just wanted you to know that we have finally understood why the data on the computer with the media to WIN creation tool not was not download on thumb drive = Firewall! Not sure if everyone will have this problem but in collaboration with Windows agent, I happened to see a pop-up window saying something on the analysis of data not allowing not to download. It is therefore sometimes necessary to temporarily disable all firewalls and Web titles before starting the download.

  Follow the instructions of man Las Vegas thread above to create a bootable USB Thumb Drive to replace newly hard drive with OS Windows 10. HOWEVER, the following was not mentioned in his instructions, and not all computers can do this extra step so keep the following in mind if your USB key does not complete the upload.

  Again, to download data, I downloaded on the work computer, a USB key, I had to we need to temporarily disable all the security features on the work computer until you have completed the download of the WIN Media Creation Tool on the thumb drive process (this includes your private web anti-virus, we can use AND/OR the WIN Firewall and other security features available on the led computer. )

  I hope this helps those who have similar problems.

  I need to add a name to a jpeg file for a product that I do with the file... when I go to the text tool and enter the name, it is not displayed. I need to unlock the layer-how can I do this? I have knowledge of basic photoshop btw.  Thank you!!

  The fact that the file is a JPEG file is not the problem. Even if the background layer has been locked, a new layer is added when you add text. Select the Horizontal type tool and click on the page. Once you see the insertion point blinking cursor, type away. You can make choices in the formatting Options bar at the top. When the text looks as you want, click the check mark.

  If you are looking to CLEAN install Windows (nothing recorded, new installation):

  To install Windows 7 using the custom option and formatting the hard drive:

  To format your hard disk during Windows 7 installation, you'll need to start, or boot, your computer using the Windows 7 installation disc or a USB flash drive.

  1. Turn on your computer so that Windows starts normally, insert the Windows 7 installation disc or a USB flash drive, and then turn off your computer.

  2. Restart your computer.

  3. Press a key when prompted and then follow the instructions that appear.

  4. In the page install Windows, enter your language and other preferences, and then click Next.

     If the page install Windows does not appear and you are not prompted to press a key, you may need to change some settings of the system. To learn how, see start your computer from a disk to install Windows 7 or USB flash drive.

  5. On the Please read the license terms page, if you agree to the terms of the license, click on I accept the terms of the license and then click Next.

  6. On the type of installation do you want? page, click Custom.

  7. On the place where you want to install Windows? page, click drive options (Advanced).

  8. Click the partition you want to change, click the formatting option you want to run and follow the instructions.

  Move the textformat definitions before the first line so it exists before trying to use them.

  Hi I created a form with drop down menus and multi line text boxes. I first created a text box and then copied and pasted to save time. The only problem I have now is when I type in the text box or select an option from a drop of water in the menu drop down, it changes all the text boxes and drop-down menus. See photo. I really want to create this form again. I realease if I rename each being sort however I would really like to have the same name. Please help if you can.

  If da is the name of the instance of the textfield object, you must target its text property. ch = _root.da.text;

  You should learn not to place the code on the objects and use the code of script instead.  If you give your button an instance name (btn), then in the timeline you would use:

  btn.onRelease = function() {}

  ch = _root.da.text;

  getURL (ch, "_blank");

  }

  Note: The _root reference is not necessary if you are coding in the main scenario

  If I understand correctly, you want to use your text as a cache for the video layer Layer (IE, view video content within the text), right?

  If so, there are two ways to do this.

  One is hidden.

  Make sure that the text layer is located directly above the video layer in the timeline.

  Press the "Toggle Switches/Modes" button at the bottom of the timeline panel.

  When you do so, AE displayed in this column the mixture and follow the fashions masts instead of layer switches (motion blur, 3D, adaptation etc). They will come back if you press the button again.

  Select the video layer and then hidden in the menu "matte Alpha - (your text layer name).

  This means that transparency in your text layer information will be used to hide the video layer.

  Of course, it works with any type of layer, as long the masking layer is located directly above the layer hidden in the timeline (a way to circumvent this requirement is to use this effect rather than matte controls, but we don't need to get that fancy right away)

  The envelope is the main e-mail folder, and the envelope with globe is the specific folder for each e-mail account.

  To separate the e-mails and SMS follow this

  Go to the folder of main messages, press menu (the BlackBerry key logo), options, General options, SMS and Email Inboxes change to separate.
