When you set up your email, you can, control inside the BRI, IMAP and pop. It is rather a function of the server to which you point a for your email - IMAP if so, BIS will configure IMAP. Many e-mail providers provide separate email POP or IMAP servers... some are combined on a single server. Not knowing your email provider, it is impossible to tell you what makes your e-mail provider. But, here are some links that might be useful:

Need help with a propagation centre put in place for my printer...

I have worked with InDesign since version 2, as a volunteer, producing a 44 pages each quarter for a non-profit. Until recently, our printer has had no trouble printing a center spread without a gutter according to what I've provided, which was a PDF made by the result of the use of master pages that have been 8.5 x 11. Now, however, something has changed in their machines and I need to give them a 11 x 17 for this propagation center. Otherwise, the good "purge" or whatever the correct term is, gets cut through of a white gutter. (As to why they could do it before, but can't now, I asked - no answer on their part, although I have about 10 questions to show how many times they did!)
Although I have done this since 2005 (started in PageMaker and InDesign covers), my experience is limited, of course. Am now on ID CS5 and I'm pretty good with areas usually, I work with, but have not yet been able to figure this out and may question is about to go to print - with the exception of the Center spread! I looked through some of the questions previous here but not found something that brought me to the answer I need.
If anyone out there can give me advice that I need, I will be of course grateful!

HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p199: need help with the installation and activation of 10 Windows after completely uninstalling Windows

Hello HP assistants.

I need help for a specific problem. My laptop came with an installation of Windows 8.1. Then I upgraded to 10 Windows when it became available. After a while, I decided to uninstall Windows completely (to wipe the hard drive) and install a Linux operating system.

Now, I decided that I want to use some software that is not available on Linux and if I want to reinstall Windows 10. My problem is that Windows has completely disappeared in a form any. So now, I need to download Windows 10 from an official source (which I think can be done fairly easily from the official source of Microsoft, although if there is a better, HP official medium to do this then please recommend it) and then I need to activate Windows some how.

As has been made clear, I have the right to use Windows 8.1 and 10 but I would need to download Windows 10 and turn it on. Is there a way to do this? I'm literally stuck without solution.

As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can simply perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link. Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

I am Brazilian, using a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Vista Home Premium.
Need help with Windows Update (since June, I just can't do the update for IE7 - use now - and can't update to IE8). All other updates ok, instaled. But with both apears 'error' as this = "WindowsUpdate_80070246" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" - and says it's a mistake not recognized Windows Update.rsrsrsrs
The same thing for Service Pack 2 KB948465 - failed... Troubleshooting!

[SOLVED] I need help for Shared Documents and Documents on my computer XP Home

I need help with my shared Documents and other folders on my computer. I have an administrator account. My son has a limited access account.

I clicked on the option 'make my private files and folders '. His file was renamed to Documents now my shared Documents. It's just my account.

I tried to undo what I did. I tried everything (I mean everything) has proposed to do online.

First of all, I logged in Safemode administrator account. I went to the Documents folder, and I've added the Administrators group and click full control.

Then I restored system a few weeks before. Then, I went to http://computers.douglasthrift.net/winxpfaq/#faq3_shared_documents and did everything.

None of them worked. I did so much, that I don't remember.

Then, I found that the registry key for the Shared Documents lacked in the MUi cache. @shell32.dll,-21785. I entered, but after I rebooted a few times, he disappeared. I have to hurt... In addition to this. Now I face a different problem. I don't know it is normal but when I login my account and click on

My computer, I see Documents of my name and the name of my son in addition to Documents (Shared Documents).

I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps and check if this solves the problem on your computer.

Method:

Ra SFC scan to search for the missing or corrupt files that can cause this problem.

Of file system (CFS) when checking that all the Windows XP system files are intact and not altered, changed or damaged.

a. Click Start, click programs, accessories, command prompt principally made.

b. in the type in the following command prompt window and press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

If you are prompted to insert the Windows XP disc, load the disc of Windows XP on the CD drive on your computer.

Once the scan finished restart your computer and test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved or not.

Need help creating Unique SSID and secure network

My AP has been recently reset the SSID I had chosen has of course been erased and AP is now considered to be "linksys". It also now broadcasts as an open network.

I tried to create a new network using the Intel PROSet/Wireless graphical user interface that came with my PC and it allows me to create a SSID and put a password on it, but it does not affect the real "linksys" network even if I would have erased "linksys" in the text box and enter my own.

I tried in vain to reset the AP again and connect to 192.168.1.245 using IE and firefox, I get an error loading page every time. I have also tried to set the IP address of my PC to the same meanings and the subnet by default 255.255.etc and could not connect.

I also tried to connect the AP to the pc directly, what does not work.

What I am doing wrong.

PS. I don't have the original installation CD, I think it would be solved.

I'm now totally fed up with the Mickey Mouse Windows 8 OS and want to return to Windows 7. I have a new laptop Toshiba Satellite L955-10f. Should I use the recovery disk to get rid of W8?

Is there a way I can get a recovery for W7 for this machine disk in case it is needed in the future? I'm not technical, so any help will be appreciated.

Right there is big problem with this machine. I ve checked the download page of Toshiba and this model is not supported for Win7, it will be difficult to find the right drivers, tools and utilities.

This model is designed for Win7 Toshiba doesn't offer Win7 recovery disc.
This is a rather complicated situation. The first thing you need to do should now create Win8 recovery media using the preinstalled Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

HI: I analyze the STATSPACK report: this is the "volume test" on our UAT server for most of entry or "bind variables". Our shared pool is well used in oracle. Recovery of Oracle logs is not configured properly on this server, as in "Top 5 events of waiting", there are 2 for Oder.
I need to know what other information may be digging from of 'waiting in the foreground events' & ' background waiting events ", and which can help us better understand, in combination of ' Top 5 wait event, that how did the server test /? I think that your CPU is overloaded by your stress tests. You have one VCPU with 2 wires (2 LCPU), right? And the load average is greater than one. You have time DB which is not counted in (CPU time + wait events) and which comes no doubt from time spent in the runqueue.

It is an error in statspack for show "log file parallel write here." This moment is historical and is included in 'log file sync '. And I don't think you have to redo misconfiguration. Waiting for 1ms to commit is ok. In OLTP you should have more than one validation in a user interaction so that the user don't worry not about 1 m in batch mode, unless you commit to each row, 1 DC to commit should not increase the total execution time.

The fact that you have a lot of line lock (enq: TX - line lock conflict) but very little time (on average 97 ms) is probably a sign that testers are running simultaneously a charge affecting the same data. Their set of test data is perhaps too simple and short. An example: when stress tests of an order entry system if you run 1000 concurrent sessions, ordering the same product to the same customer, you can get this kind of symptoms, but the test we unrealistic.

It's a high activity of 2000 calls per second, 52 transactions per second, user. But you also have low average active sessions, so the report probably covers a period of non-uniform activity, which makes the averages without meaning.

So note to tell about the events of waiting here. But we don't have any info about 39% of DB time devoted to the CPU which is where something can be improved.

Need help with performance & setting in an environment of memory data storage/warehousing

Nice day.
We had successfully migrated from a 4 node rack Exadata V2 to a quarter of 2 node rack X 4 - 2 Exadata. However, we are facing some problems with performance for a few charges while others were indeed marked a good improvement.
1. the total memory on the BONE is 250 GB for each node (two of compute nodes for a quarter of rack).
2. you would be grateful if someone could help me with the best equation to calculate the SGA and PGA (as well as in the distribution of the shared_pool, large_pool etc.) or automatic memory management is recommended?
3. we run the exachk report which proposes to set up huge pages.
4. when we tried to increase the SGA to more than 30 GB system does not do. We set however of the PGA to 85 GB.
5. in addition, we noted that some of the queries with joins and indexes take more time.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vikram,

There is no formula on SGA and PGA, but best practices for environments OLTP is amounting to give memory (which can be up to 80% of total RAM of the server) you can do 80% gas and 20% of the PGA. Envs Data Warehouse, values are like PGA SGA and 40% to 60%, or it may be up to 50% - 50%. In addition, some disencourage docs you keep the auto memory when management database you use a big SGA (> 10).

You use a CCR environment, you need to configure huge Pages. And if the systems are not allowing you to increase the memory, just take a glance on the semaphore settings, probably, they establish lower values. And for the poor performance queries, we need to explain the structure of the table plans, and you also analyserions if smart scan is the game.

NEED HELP FOR THE RESOLUTION AND QUALITY?

I've done of these vector portraits type in photoshop for the past two weeks, we were all going well until, when someone sets up as a picture on facebook etc the quality is not as good as when I just display the image on my computer.
I was from the new photoshop and using 800 x 800 pixels and the resolution to 72 pixels/inch, I wrong here somewhere? or is it the fact that I use photoshop to do this? im sure there are many people who will advise me to use illustrator, which I thought a lot to do. but I would like to know if this can be fixed in photoshop first.

Once your support for a screen, you only need to worry about the pixel dimensions, the PPI is irrelevant. Facebook will tell you what's the resolution of each image. To my knowledge, Facebook does not support svg graphics in the opposite case, you could use Illustrator. Just make sure that when you don't create vector graphics in PhotoShop that you save a copy in a file buffer, as the jogging and png do not support vectors.
