I need help using "calendar" in Windows Live Mail

Problem 1: The 'properties' of one of the "calendars" within the watch WindowsLiveMail give it a READ ONLY status.   The 'properties' of this calendar also lead me to believe that it is filled with information on the birthday of my contact information.

Q1: How does a calendar WLM to set READ ONLY?
Q2: How can I change this status so that I can DELETE then?
Q3: How 'do' a new calendar uses the information from my Contacts?  that is, if I create a 'new' calendar as a birthday or anniversary, how to
Shoot all the information, anniversary or a birthday, as I said in my Contacts.  Apparently, it's supposed to happen, but it doesn't seem to be.
Q4: When I set up a REMINDER in my calendar, exactly how I get recalled?  In Outlook, I'd get a pop-up window on my screen in the
"reminder" calendar.  I have reminders set for all THE birthdays in my birthday calendar, but I have yet to get any form of reminder for any of them.  What I am
hurt?
Help!  Please, I beg you.  Thank you.
Bob

I have been using the calendar in Windows Live Mail for months. When I logged in yesterday, all data and appointments, I was seized for months left.  The calendar is completely empty.

I did a system restore with no luck. I ran in safe mode with no luck. I ran a disk check in the BACK without success. Any other ideas on what I can do to find my calendar information? The file would be corrupted? I rely on this calendar and all my info disappeared, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Original title: Email problems

Check with your e-mail provider on how the various SMTP (especially the port) settings must be set to confirm that everything is correct. But, take a look at this setting and try to change it if necessary to see if it helps.

    WLMail open

Right-click on the name of the email account

    Click 'properties '.

    Click the [servers].

"my server requires authentication" is checked?

If it is not try to delay it and and see what happens then.

Note that you may need to click the [Settings] button to enter the necessary info he needed.

When I try to print the calendar of the month - only the month - it always prints the last week of the previous month, even if I put in the screenshot, a start date of the first of the month, and then an end date of the last day of the month.  I'm so used to the calendar in XP... never had a problem.  Can someone help me solve this problem please?

  • Unable to connect to the internet using Google or Windows Live Mail access

I have an Acer laptop with Windows 7.  Every time I have to connect to the Internet via Google, or attempt to access my emails on Windows live mail, it takes forever to connect to the time and the high bar always notes that Windows does not.  Please notify.  This happens only in the last year, no problems prior to this.

    What type of connection Internet?

What Antivirus utility do you use?

This happens in other web browsers?

If you are on a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection and try the download.

    Click Start, type: cmd

Right-click on cmd, and then click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type the following:

    ipconfig/release

    then

    ipconfig/renew

    then

    ipconfig/flushdns

    leave the command prompt

    Click Start, type: folder

    Press enter

Delete the contents of the temp folder

Restart the computer and try to download again.

If the problem persists, try resetting your router if you are connected to one.

Turn off the router, unplug it, wait 10 minutes

Plug it in again, power up once again

    Reconnect the Ethernet cable

Try to access these web services again.

  • E-mail using OE and Windows Live Mail

I have a computer running xp with Outlook Express and a computer of Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail. What happens if they are both on the same email address? E-mail will go to one or the other or both?

Both, if you configure them properly.

In OE: Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: leave a copy of messages on the server.

In WLMail: Menu button. Options | Email accounts | This email account | Properties | Advanced. Check: Leave a copy of messages on the server.

On an e-mail client only check to delete messages after X days to satisfy your allocated space that you get from your server.

  • Is this possible using calendar (Windows Live Mail) on Dell Streak 7 Tablet?

I am using Windows 7 on my laptop and my email is Windows Live Mail.  I use the calendar with Windows Live Mail.  I would use this calendar on my Dell Streak 7 Tablet instead of keeping two different calendars.  Is it possible or can suggest you something easy to do for me (I'm old).  I get my email on

the table ok I'm going in my cable server.

    Thanks, Cobina1

Your Tablet works with Windows?  Windows Live Mail is for Windows computers.  If the Tablet is using Android as do most non-Apple tablets, you cannot use Windows Live Mail.  There are a lot of calendars Android you can use however.

    Good luck.

  • I'm trying to synchronize Windows Live Mail calendar with the calendar of the IPhone 5

    Hello

I'm trying to synchronize the part calendar in Windows Live Mail (Windows 7) with my calendar from Iphone (Iphone 5).  For now, they seem to work independently a few weeks ago tho everything has worked, nothing has changed and I am puzzled.

    Thanks for reading.

    Shona

I've never used an iPhone, it might be better to ask the Group of Apple iPhone.

But I'm fairly certain that put you it up in the same place under the settings you would setup your e-mail account.  Calendars are almost always synchronized with the same service as your email passes through.  As if you have a Hotmail/Exchange/Outlook account configuration, synchronization can be done by e-mail and calendar/address book.

  • I use Windows Live Mail for some time now without any problem, then today it just started freezing.

I've been using Windows live mail for some time now with no problems then today it just started freezing. I open my mail box, receive mail, then I'm going to open a specific e-mail and it begins to freeze.  I have to close the program and start again and it then it freezes again.  Any suggestions?  I did a check for viruses on my laptop and it comes back clean.  Thank you!!
