• NEED HELP WITH FLASH GAME!

  Hi all

  I am brand new to the forums here and I need help!  I'm on a very tight schedule for a flash game project, and can't seem to understand my problem.

  In my game of people shoot 4 different moving images and get points. Simple right? Although images is a question mark that can shoot people and when they do, I need flash to stop the timer game, a new popup window, the multiple choice question appear in the window and wait for the user to respond.

  NOTE: I would also like to be able to customize the size and location of the pop-up window!  Also, the question must be random.  I have a list of questions in a word doc.

  Then, if the answer to the question properly close window award 10 points and continue the game.  If you incorrectly answer the question, saying bad and then display the results of end game.

  Right now I have it to where it opens a pop up in a web browser and askes the question there.  The question is chosen at random from a file called random.html.  But I don't want the game to work this way. I want the game to open the pop in flash.  Can anyone help?  Time is a few hours, SORRY for THE SHORT NOTICE!

  Everything to do with the movieclip is possible.  You can make sure the questions are changed dynamically whenever he appears... but it is a matter of design to be.  This has nothing to do with the popups... This is a clip that you can control the visibility of and what it contains.  In the Flash file will probably be easier to manage than a popup window outside, as far as the aspect programming and scoring goes.

  Create a movieclip that has a textfield for the question, and all what he needs in the way of user interaction.  Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to give a detailed approach to design.  If you manage to create a shooting game, creating a movieclip which works as you describe should be a fairly simple task for you.

• Need help with a game

  Good so I created a stick figure using the online tool and do the walk animation. Each part of the body has its layer and my question is how do the stick figure move and jump using the arrow keys. So far I've done the character to move and jump, but I want also my walk animation starts when I press the arrow button and stop. I'm still a beginner and I play with some code and tutorials, but I can't make it work properly. I already have a platform game with a bouncing ball that was easy enough and now I decided to expand my knowledge by doing something more complicated. I would appreciate some help and explanation.

  

  If your animations frame by frame are just to make the movement of the body and not really having body change location, and then for the object to move, you can use code and adjust/increment the _x and FLF properties for it.

  Here's some code that would make the figure move the arrow keys on the keyboard-based...  In this code, "the figure is the name of the movieclip that contaons all the animations of the body movement."  If the animation that you show above is on the main timeline, then you need to move inside the movieclip figure...

  The link below is a guige to install a video card in your Pc.  In particular, it seems that you will have to perhaps specify the location of the new card in the bios and save this change before you install the new card - see step 4 in the guide on the link below.  If your new card fits into the PCI Express x 16 slot, you will need to define PCI Express in the bios and save the changes.

• Need help with screen Blus of death (BSOD) on my computer toshiba laptop

  Hello all, Ive had a little last week, or problems with my laptop. While playing a game (minecraft), I would randomly have a BSOD error and my laptop will re-start. Initially, I gave it no thought, but when it happened again, I decided to try to do a little research, but I'm not terrible with technology and other then I'm neither the case with my own research.

  If someone could point me in the direction of a few possible ways to get this problem.

  I got a program to read some sort of file "dump" made when occurs a BSOD, I publish what this program here says? the program is BlueScreenView, if yes, what I have post the spectator thing? There are has 2 main screens on it, SDO as Sho different dump files (which is on the top) and on the bottom, it lists the names of different files for each dump file I think that some of them highlighted.

  im not this product with tech so I don't know much but I need to post anything on my laptop or any information of the dumpfile and would have this info help in any way to determine the problem? just tell me what I have to post and ill get the information displayed in a response, thank you.

  PS: I don't think that playing minecraft is the cause of the BSOD and crashing, but I only get it when playing minecraft, so I don't know if minecraft is causing accidents and others. I watch videos and this all the time and I never have an accident. I'll try and play a different game and see if this causes my laptop down and the cause is perhaps high usuage to my laptop, as I've said games require a lot of power of a laptop/computer, if they are not the 'best' laptop for games. but yh, if someone thinks they can help me and need some information please tell me so I can get it for you. If you guys think it would be best to get a professional to look just mylaptop say, however im save as a last resort.

  I need help with a SQL query to get the result as above without using the group by clause.   Just prior to leaving changes (installation in this case) is done on the Mac OS application password & it must be the password for Mac system. This password is the native guest of the system clean & accept the password only. Please make sure that it's the right password (all/admin rights) and the game should work.
