I need my registry

I need my registry # to my other computer, I is no longer. Is there a # I can call?

If you mean your product key - if Windows was preinstalled on your computer, your key should be on the COA sticker on the case.

If you bought it separately, it should be in the package with the disc.

You can try to use Belarc Advisor to retrieve the key, if the system is still functional (www.belarc.com )

If the system is not running, but the disc is still OK, you can retrieve the key using a UBCD or BartPE disc

Note that in both cases the key can not be your personal key, it is perhaps the key OEM_SLP attributed to the manufacturer of your PC, which is valid only when used with their recovery disks.

  • Says I need a "clean registry" - how?

I'm unable to uninstall video editing software and were told by their tech support that my Windows needs a 'registry clean up.'  Background: the computer crashed while I was updating my FlipShare software. After I rebooted, Flipshare will not work, but cannot fix my computer or update. After a lot of troubleshooting with technical support Flip, they said my Windows one needs "registry clean" until we can get, because I get the following message from Windows: "the installation source for this product is not available." Verify that the source exists and that you can access. As all the comments I've read in this forum does NOT recommend to use the registry cleaning software, I don't know what to do. Am I stuck and have to take my computer to a repair for this shop?

Try the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove Flipshare. This tool has been removed by Microsoft because it could cause other problems. It is still available on this site

    Hi Lrrrr,

Just a simple question: what installation Eco Utility on your NB100?

But normally you don't need this utility of Eco. As much I know this tool only changes power settings Windows you can do it yourself too. It s a nice tool where you can reduce the energy consumption in a single click, but you can do it yourself if you create the own power profile or change.

  • Restore the registry from the host.

    Hello

Recently, I had a new hard drive installed in my Tower for my counter top.  I like to play POGO games and was not able to load some games.  When I called POGO they told me that my 'winregistry home' had disappeared and I needed this registry to load games.  They also said that they could solve the problem for $99.00.  I ask if there is another way to save me this kind of spending, and always to restore the registry.

Because I know very little about all this, I don't want to get ripped off and to find more late that could have been done online for free.  Can someone at Microsoft explain that and then maybe help me with this problem.  Thank you very much.

    Hello

What version of Windows are you using?

They were talking about the Host file?

Never touch the file and the fact that he disappeared may be an indication of a virus or malware.  Restart and start typing the F8 key to display the logo of the manufacturer.

Select Mode safe mode with networking

Download the following tool and run a scan complete

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    When finished, restart the computer

Open the Windows program Notepad and find the following information:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    : 1 localhost

The '1' in the '127.0.0.1' must be in the first column of the line. In addition, there must be at least one space between "127.0.0.1" and "localhost". The second line is an IPv6 address mapping to localhost, and this line is part of the default for Windows Vista and Windows 7 hosts file. There must be at least one space between ": 1" and "localhost".

In Windows 2000 or XP, all you have to do to save this file "hosts" and you're done. In Windows Vista or 7, you have launched the program Notepad "as Administrator". This will allow you to record in the "hosts" file and the path when you try to save is a file system type.

NO YOU DO NOT HAVE A REGISTRY MORE CLEAN!

  • is a registry cleaner program a good investment for a slow computer?

    Hello.

My computer is slow and late, most of the time when I go on facebook the freez the computer for 10-15 seconds, then the page comes on. The more problems I have on facebook is when I go to the games (the game will load completely and before it begins, it closes and recharge again.) Sometimes it's just the game freez and I click on "Home" to leave the game and I have to return the game to continue playing). Now, the problem is not only on Facebook, I use it as an example. I searched on google and I want to know if a registry cleaner might help. Some websites you says it's good, some sites say it's a scam most registers are useless. I'm running on Windows Vista business and I have Kaspersky Lab Internet Security 2013, and I have my computer, run a defrag every week. If I need a registry, I saw a couple of sites for this and the other says it's best 'RegClean Pro' and another said 'RegZooka.  Also is there a Web site that is 'kosher' and reliable software. There are SO many scams.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Yves.

    Absolutely not. Most are scams.

In any case, those who are not is dangerous. There is no central reference to the registry. Each program or driver, including Windows, it uses as it sees fit. Recommended by microsoft parts are specified by a particular product with no coordination team. Noone has knowledge of a deep understanding of the tens of thousands of programs.

The unused parts of the registry do not affect the registry.

No need to panic. If you used another registry, cleaner, we could see 2000, 3000 or 4000 even depedning errors that the registry search cleaner. Registry cleaners are so reliable that I wouldn't even recommend them. In fact you don't need a registry cleaner and, contrary to popular reports, your registry "is not" increased cleaning performance. Registry cleaners are noted for the provision of many "false positives" it makes you wonder if the registry cleaner is saying 'what the devil I know, just delete this and the other and hope everything works eventually. Hello...

My laptop cannot identify this device (ACPI/ENE0200)...
Does anyone know what driver should I download?

My volume button does not work as well...

    Windows 7 is installed...

Wish I could find a way to install xp as well, but I can't find sata drivers...

    Too many questions...!

    Hope I get a response...

    Keep up the good work!

    Hi mate,

I also Qosmio F50 and installed Windows 7 32 bit on it. I have to say that I didn t have problems such as you. It s works quite well on the Qosmio F50 and functions works as the volume button keys FN, the buttons of enlightenment and to this day.
Moreover I didn t need the registry patches yet but just try and post your result.

I installed all the drivers on the Toshiba site: Chipset, screen, sound, LAN, WLAN, Card Reader, etc., and after the driver Bluetooth software installation and package of value added. All that s! :)

In my opinion, it works really well and I can use all the features as on the factory settings (Vista), but Windows 7 runs faster than Vista.

Now, I have a dual boot with Vista and Windows 7, but for the moment I only use Windows 7. I guess I'll completely remove Vista and use then use disk space free for my apps on Windows 7.

I hope you can solve this problem and share the experience with us. I am interested in if you have the same opinion as me or not. ;)

  • How parallellize a loop with arrays?

    Hello

Trying to improve the performance of a program I want to parallellize a loop. This loop uses a vi that returns an array, and I guess it can be of different lengths to each iteration. The current solution is a classic CONCATENATE via shift register parallellization impossible paintings, but there should be a work around, right?

    /Y

    Hi Yamaeda,

When you concat elements in an array in a loop, you need a registry to offset either by BuildArray or ReplaceArraySubset (with a predefined table)...

A possible workaround: when your Subvi bays differ in length, place them in a cluster. So you can use autoindexing to build a cluster of the table - with the disadvantage of needing another loop to concatenate the subtables later...
