• Media imported, but the layer check box is grayed out

  I think I can have messed with a framework in my project because when I import media into the canvas or the layers pane, I manually option + click on the box to make it appear. I see the icon and the name on the tab layers, but it is grayed out for some reason any. It's especially annoying when an audio file is imported, because it wont let me check the Master volume box.

  There is no problem when running the same tasks with a new project.

  Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

• Firefox updates not - although I have OSX 10.5.8 it keeps saying I have too old a BONE. The auto-update for Firefox is grayed out. How can I update?

I get messages from Google that Firefox is an older version and need to update - so I went to the site of Firefox and the message said that "Unfortunately the latest version of Firefox is not compatible with the operating system of your computer. Learn more. "When I click on learn more, it is said that Firefox only works with OS X 10.5 and 10.6... the auto-Setup box to update for Firefox is grayed out and not clickable in Firefox preferences, there is no manual download I can find - how can I make Firefox recognize my OS and allow me to upgrade? Thank you very much.

  PPC Macs are not compatible with Firefox 4.0 and later versions.

  For older Mac that are not supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6, try TenFourFox of PowerPC running Mac 10.4.11 and 10.5.8.

  My Adobe Application Manager does not display the items on the list. I try to check the updates it and the program says there is no update, and I positively know are updates that I am using camera Raw 7.1.0.354.

  What can I do?

  I am running windows 8 pro with media center and my location is Spanish.

  After a bit of trial and error, I managed to update the software by running as an administrator. This enabled the "Update" feature in the Help menu and everything went smoothly. It is strange, however, that users will need to do such things in order to keep the software updated.

  CTRL + , < comma > to display the Preferences dialog box, the tab the leftmost is General, the drop-down list language is located at the bottom of the dialog box, English UK and English American are the ninth and tenth entries in the list, respectively. The OK button is the second from the bottom right. Close iTunes and reopen it to apply.
