  You bought subscription Adobe PDF package that is why you are unable to open a PDF file.

  You should perhaps install Adobe Reader (free software) or buy a subscription to open a PDF Acrobat DC file.

  If you install the creative Cloud versions, you will have then two versions of the two. You can uninstall the old ones if you don't need two versions of each, but you must first disable them if you ever want to use them on another computer.

  If you have the serial number, you can contact the Adobe Support via chat (when they are available - not weekend) and ask them to reset your activations.  Which will allow you to reinstall and activate again using the serial number, which you have now.

• BlackBerry Smartphones not installation account that I was using before

  BlackBerry has sent a message that he is not able to authenticate e-mail and password for account.  This is the same account, password and email as it has been for the past two years.  TI guy says change to Iphone or Android - less interface problems.

  Followed the instructions to a "T" and it says "invalid email address or password".  Technician COMPUTER confirms the two still the same and I can always access e-mail via mobile phone.  In the server host rolled etc. "just as requested.

  At a loss on how to set up email FYI - yahoo and Google put in place transparent simply not with outlook.  Was no question for the past two years.

  I deleted and restarted several times without success and continued to get the same message. But late last night after continuing to try to add once again, this has worked. I can't explain what happened but it works know.

• Photoshop CC 2015 does not remember that the last used tool after restart

  I think it happened after the last update (2015.1.1). Whenever I have quit Photoshop and run it again later or the next day, it does not preserve the last tool that I used. For example, if I was using the Healing Brush, the next session opens with the Spot Healing Brush tool as default instead of the Healing Brush, and I have to remember to change the tool. It didn't happen until I'm positive if I pressed J he lurched to the Healing Brush, as it was the last, I used.

  During a meeting, it is normally. For example, I use the Healing Brush tool, move the clone to another task stamp, and if I press J, it jumps to the corrector. But if I stop PS is going on what I mentioned before, if I press J selects the Spot Healing Brush tool instead.

  I know it's a very small problem, but it is perhaps worth mentioning.

• Computer off for repair, currently using 2 subscriptions.  I have a backup PC, can I disable it on one of my accounts and then reactivate it when he comes back from repair?

  It is impossible for us to know here if your computer is infected. See if you can connect to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

  In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

  If you can get, go to control panel > user accounts and remove the password for your user account. Then scan your computer for viruses/malware by:

  I use 3.6 because I like how it spans my toolbars instead of just me giving bookmarks in the corner and firefox solitaire in the opposite corner.   Well it's good news that sfc found no problem. It seems that the problem is with the optical drive itself. It is perhaps simply that the lens needs cleaning that can be done with a disk designed especially for the readers of pc, or you can take a chance to do it yourself with a very soft brush and a Tickle very gently around the area of the lens, assuming this is a laptop and you can see the lens - otherwise you will need the disk.

  Otherwise you may need to consider the purchase of an optical drive usb (external) - they are relatively inexpensive and often provide better results than the built-in readers in laptops. Try to clean everything first well... Best, Ric.
