  • Deactivation of the charms and green screen on videos

I have a laptop HP running Windows 8.  I followed the instructions on how to disable scrolling of the corner and the deactivation of the charms, but I still get the sidebar on the right/charms.

Also, I can watch a few videos online, then no reason the screen turns green. I tried some stuff I've read online, but it is still ongoing. Someone said that I have to update the drivers, but I don't know how or where to do it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Jaishamil,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

If I understand correctly, you try to disable the charms bar and get a green screen by watching videos. I appreciate your time and patience.

    1. What is the model of the computer?
    2. What browser do you use to watch videos? Green screen is launched on other applications or programs as well?

Try with another browser and see if it helps.

Let us try the suggestions listed in the links below and check if it helps.

  • I try to use a green screen in my video.

I can get the green to disappear, but I don't know how to make an image pop up in its place, I tried dragging. But it does not work. How to make a background image instead of the green screen and video

Put the background scene on the right path V1.

Put on the forground (the clip with the greenscreen) V2 directly on the background scene located on the V1.

When you enter the Green, this region will become transparent and reveal the stage located on the V1 track.

I understand that when you try to view a video on your laptop, a green screen, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

The first thing I recommend is to follow this document using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8). This should help to ensure that hardware drivers are up to date.

The next step, I will propose is to update your Adobe Flash and Java drivers. This should help to prevent the appearance of a green screen when you watch videos.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • T5i settings video green screen

Hi all.  This is my first post.  I use my T5i for about 6 months now and love.  I recently bought a green screen and when I record video at night with my lightning unbrellas, I look like a zombie, white as a sheet.  Is there a way to adjust the video settings before you save it?

Also, it would be preferable to use a green screen with natural light?  I think I know the answer to this one, but I thought I'd ask.

    Thank you.

After more experimentation, I realized it was the software I was using, Wondershare, which has very basic green screen capabilities.  I've recently upgraded to Corel Videostudio X 8 and couldn't be happier.  I recently did a review of the psychosis of Hitchcock, with green and black and white screen... and the results were very nice.  You can find it on Youtube it you type in Psycho Drumdums.  Drumdums is my channel name.

  • video green screen

    Hi louthomp,

Thank you for your request, I will do my best to help you.

I understand that you get a screen green when play you videos.    You can run The HP Support Assistant to help with updates and solve problems.  Have you checked the Windows updates?  As this started 2 days ago, you have an option to restore to before this date and be back up and working. Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)

If you want more help, please provide your exact model computer and what operating system you are using. How can I find my model number or product number?

Whenever I try to view an MSN or Amazon video, I get a GREEN screen but the sound and no video. I always have to go to another browser to view the content. WHY - WHAT IS PAST?

First of all, I recommend to disable one of the video players to see if that might be causing the problem. Second, I recommend:

    If its Flash drive try:
Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

  • Video problems and a green screen

    Hello

I read the questions and answers on this topic, but some things work and others do not.  For example, I was able to solve one of my problems with some other fixes I found through online forums General for the 'green' screen that plays with the audio only.  It seems to work for me on you tube but not on Facebook more videos alhtough Facebook worked the first time when I rebooted.

What I did get into my internet options and under accelerated graphics that I checked use software rendering instead of...

and on the Security tab, I checked activate 64-bit processes in increased protected...  It Enhanced protected mode should as well then?  Should I check this option.

I also treid to do what the responses recommended... as a right click on the video on Facebook when he plays and then I get a pop up I get the settings options or global settings and adobe flash player info... by clicking on settings gives me options but none for "screen", only for my microphone, camera and storage.  If I click on global settings, need me to flash player help.  And the last option, I get my version of Adobe info, which is version 13.00.214.  So no option to uncheck the box disable accelerated graphics cause I think I already did this in Control Panel.

But why is working with youtube and videos from Facebook that I also tried to play videos as wmv and other video files files in my windows media player flash and then I get a screen black but still audio not play now.

My computer is a HP Pavilion Notebook PC and it came with Windows already installed 8.1.  My graphics card is a Radeon R5 AMD graphics card.

So what the devil now.  Should I install more recent Adode Player?  Even by unchecking the option graphis accelerated, this isn't really a solution for the deeper problem and the question, because then it slows down your graphics card?

My computer is not even a week and I hate having to always download the patches and constant updates and spend hours searching for and trying to solve a problem that really should not appear in a first time.  Why are there so many problems with Windows?  Is this a problem with windows updates as well.  Active X controls?  Isuses of compatibility with 64-bit processes.  Can I use Firefox.  I did with my old HP, which finally launched the bucket and that's why I had to buy a new one.  I had to replace my battery before a year and my warranty battery lasted that long either and then the thing finally overheated and died.  But I had a lot of similar things happen before with the last HP laptop if it's Windows or is it HP or is it browsers, readers?

I'm sorry if I'm unloading on you... I want too much, but it's so frustrating as a consumer of always having to go through such things.  I use my laptop to work on his own account so please help!

Thanks for letting me vent...  I'd appreciate your help, thank you.

    A frustrated customer

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I'm sorry you're having problems.  I looked into your problem with video problems.

    You have uninstalled Internet Explorer?

    Have you tried Google Chrome?

It already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome automatically updates when new versions of Flash Player are available. Adobe are on version 15. Here'sa place to update. It has a link to Google Chrome as well.

Here is a link to common problems of Flashplayer.

I would try a system restore because this could undo any change that could happen with an update from Microsoft. Sometimes they have not completed or installed on the laptop.

    Hope this helps you.

    Thank you.

  • get a green screen with no video only sound

Why do I get a green screen with no video only sound?  Is this a driver problem?

    Hello

Try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the Flash component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

    Kind regards
