  I can tell you one thing, all or almost of windows xp device drivers will disappear from the computer manufacturers support websites and will reappear on all these shady sites who claim to be download for free but comes with unwanted software. Download the latest device drivers and keep several copies of them and download them to your skydrive or dropbox account fo guard.

  I doubt that will happen. I've seen Windows 2000 drivers still on websites mfg.

  Adobe offers cross-platform from Win to MAC but does apply to the current version of delivery. You have to ask for cross-platform upgrade and pay the upgrade price...

  Are you sure that it will not work with Windows 7? Usually there are problems with the software XP and Windows 7/8, but if it works with Windows 7 there is a good chance that it will work with Windows 8. If the software is the issue that you may be able to run the program in compatibility mode Windows 7.

It will scan USB very well, but I can't find a function to scan the PC unless I work from the PC using the HP software or other TWAIN software. He would like to insert pages in the feeder 'Print to PC' press and do the scan appear on his screen. Is this possible using wireless?   I checked the manual of the product, and it describes 3 General methods of scanning.

  Scan methods

  Scanning to a USB key from the control panel of the product.

  Scan from the computer using the HP scanning software

  Scan compatible TWAIN or image Windows (WIA) - software compatible Application

  Does not matter if you use USB or network connection... None of them are 'push' the image of scan to PC:{{class=fontblue}}

  Perhaps we could reflect on a possible way: maybe scan from the front panel for a flash drive, then set up the PC to read and view from the USB to the insertion?

  Hi, I am looking to convert my localhost Ubuntu 9.10 for a machine virtual (vmdk) using vCenter Converter Standalone Client 4.0.1.

  I am at the step #2 (specify the Destination) and I expect to converter to allow me to choose a path to store the hard files.  However, 'Destination Type' does not have any selection - only 'VMWare Infrastructure virtual machine' is available.  (also there is input to the server, username, and password fields)

  What I am doing wrong?

  using vmware converter 4.01 when virtual do physical power machines Linux the only available destination is ESX (i) server.

  One possible way to solve this handicap can be what makes an image of the Linux system using one of support for the products of the image and then use the vmware converter to set up the image of Linux box as a source and destination that it doesn't have to be a server ESX (i)

  If it comes to an eventual conversion, you can use a trial license with the product of the image (e.g. acronis true image or norton ghost).

• Windows Live Mail freezes / crashes if I try to use the sections of then only connected to Windows Live Mail CONTACTS

  I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. I use applications of windows live with the exception of 'family safety' (which is not currently installed).
  All applications work well except for Live Mail which freezes when I'm connected and click contacts.
  No problem sending, receipt or writing emails. No problem adding contacts to an email (even if I am connected to Live).
  Simply, it freezes when I'm connected and click on the option of the application contacts. Or if I am in touch and then sign in to Windows Live.

  I did a repair of all windows Live products. I also followed another troubleshooting tutorial and changed the name of the folder 'contacts' to allow Live Mail re - sync contacts when I signed up again. None of these worked.

  I would prefer not to have to re - install the app altogether if it can be avoided.

  Any help is very appreciated!
