  Typically "feathers" refers to soften the edges of a photo - that's what you're talking about? Did you mean one of the other options as provided above Julia? Below, I've provided a few steps on how you can soften or "fade" the edges of a photo by using the function of the pen in Photoshop.

  1. open your image and select the rectangular marquee tool in the toolbar. You can also choose to use the elliptical marquee tool.

  

  2. drag around the area of your picture that you want to keep intact.

  

  3. Once you are happy with your selection, go to Select > modify > feather...

  

  4. you can adjust the amount of smoothing taking place.

  

  5. now you can click on the mask of your layers panel, as shown below:

  No, film photos will appear in both places - and they are not duplicates, Photos and Album in the Photos app tabs will show the same pictures, they do not have their own copies separate photos.

  And when you "copy" a photo in an album you are not creating a second copy of the photo, the album is actually just pointing to the photo (so if you delete the photos in the album film it is also removed from the albums that you have 'copy' in).

  Please try and turn off the graphics processor in the Lightroom preferences

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom and try to use it.

  Yes.

  Pressing the Tab key usually strives to restore the panels.  F cycles through the modes of the screen.

  If this fails, click on the workspace name in the upper right. Essentials - for example. A drop down menu opens. Select "Reset Essentials".

  Reset works when you make a mess of the space working wonders and want everything back in place.

  Import and export and rendering speed depends on the CPU. The disk contributes only a negligible amount to import and export and rendering speed. You would spend more time to pass the photos that you would gain in speed.

  If you had not reinstalled Vista, we helped you recover the product key of Vista for running old, Vista activated using specific programs.

  But, as you have wiped the hard and reinstall Vista, we will not help you recover the product key.

  I changed the location setting labelled '2' to post a link-local only, so I think I hit save to '3 '.  So, I have had no contact with my cRIO network.

  Hit the reset button

  A MAX of opening closure

  Go to safe mode

  Lift the switch to reset IP

  Power cycling the cRIO

  Directly from the host to my target of cat 5 cable running

  None of it worked, and I have no contact with my cRIO.

  

  This is what MAX looks like now.  How can I fix?

  

  It turns out that I had more of a problem.  Corrupt drivers, 255 in many in my subnet mask, overly complex LAN, use server control... you get the idea.  So I just deleted all software, disassembled everything and more from scratch.  Now back to the top and work.
