  For all those who may have a similar problem, I found the solution so that the fonts without reinstall it painful to the range of 5.5.

  1. I went to this website: "http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html."

  2 scroll to the extra content section: CS5.5 Design Premium & Web Premium content extra (176 MB) there is additional content choice for those who need it. I needed design premium to ensure that I had the right files. Additional content is free for those who already have the adobe software.

  After you download the additional content file, I unzipped, found fonts in this way: Downloads\CS5.5 Design Web\English\Goodies\Fonts\Adobe

  Copy the fonts in the Goodies\Fonts folder in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\Fonts; and in: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Fonts. Also in C:\Windows\Fonts - for good measure.

  After this simple exercise, all my fonts have been restored to the way they were before the laptop was reimagee. Now, why hell don't fonts disappear from their respective police records after that the machine was reimagee, I can't guess, I'm just happy to be able to continue working.

  but to answer your question Adobe does not software that will run on both platforms its either or. you will need to buy a Mac version.

  I've recently updated Ps CC to the 2014 version. My computer did not at that time there to day bridge. I asked Help Support update that. But in both cases, I found that a computer running the same operating system had a newer version of ACR (8.5.0.236), and one I'm having trouble w / still has a previous version (8.3.0.141).

  Is there an easy way to better update?

  Can I just find the page for the update on the Adobe site and download and install them - or is it not that easy and simple to do that?

  And if so, where is the download page - I can't say that the Adobe site is very easy to navigate to find things.

  This happens when Ps app is removed not uninstalled. So when you try to download, it shows you that the CC Ps is already installed.

  Run the cleanup tool to remove Ps CC:http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html . Restart the computer and then try to reinstall the Ps.
