I scan a text document

Try to analyze a word on my brother printer/scanner document. When I try to scan directly from the scanner buttons, it just says: "connecting to PC" and then finally stops without analyzing. When I try to scan the scanner control panel option, I put it in place for documents, but it will only be important as an image. Did it successfully before, don't know what I could do wrong. I need to be able to edit the document in Microsoft Word 2007.

  • Download must be a csv file, but download a text document

    http://www.arttimesjournal.com/data/events-August-2015.csv
is the address that needs access to a csv file. Instead, I get a word document

  • I want to copy the bookmark links and stick them on a text document. Is there a quick way to do it?

I have too many bookmarks and want to put just the links in text documents. Problem is it takes too long and I was wondering if there was a faster way to do it.

If you only need the links then you can copy them to the Manager of bookmarks (library) to the Clipboard.
You can select several bookmarks in the usual way with the Shift key and the CTRL key for individual items.

  • What would cause the mouse to scroll slowly on Web pages, but normally on text documents?

I have a strange problem. I have a Logitech M305 mouse on another machine which is too slow scrolling on Web pages. I ordered a new mouse, but today I noticed the old mouse normally scroll in text documents, even though the text document is displayed in Firefox (such as the "subject: config" page).

Normally, a page will scroll 3 lines for each click of the mouse wheel.
On Web pages, it changes and it takes 3 clicks of the mouse wheel to get the page to scroll.

It is troubling to move the mouse wheel and don't have anything happen until the third click.

So the question is, what would make the mouse wheel behave differently on the Web pages and pages of text, and how can I solve this problem?

BTW, this is a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit. I use the same exact type of install now on another machine with a mouse Logitech M510 and normally scrolls on all pages.

OK, a final report on this issue. Yesterday, before installing the new mouse M325, I decided to uninstall the Logitech SetPoint software. I wanted a new installation of the software for the mouse to go with the new mouse.

To my surprise, after the set point has been uninstalled the old mouse M305 scroll normally on pages of text and Web pages. It seems that something mysterious happened in the relationship between Firefox and the original installation of set point. Firefox made some adjustments or updates of its own regarding record just as it does for modules, I saw it happen a couple of times before. /shrug

New mouse + set works perfectly with FireFox now and the old mouse M305 + setpoint is now works well with an old laptop XP Pro, at least as long as the button pop-up gimpy holds.

Solution, in this case: uninstall the Logitech SetPoint mouse software, and then reinstall a new copy of it.

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 more again to replace the L7780 who brought up the menu scan, when a document is loaded into the autofeeder.  How can I get the only 8600 to do the same.  I find that I liked the convenience of the automatic menu, but it does not come to the top when I load the document (s) to scan in the ADF.  This feature has been discontinued?

Thank you.  I do enjoy the printer but miss this feature that I scan all my documents in my computer to avoid to keep a lot of paper.

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

First of all, you need to install the software for your printer.  You can download the software from this link, be sure to select the correct operating system and the "Download COMPLETE".

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8610-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5367603/model/5367606

Once installed, you can start using the Scan software.

There is a Scan shortcut that allows you to 'Save as PDF '.  This will scan all your documents in a single file.

Watch these videos that can be useful to your scanning needs.

  • How to scan a legal document size on the office jet 8500 hp has more all in one that you use?

I need help in a legal size document scanning, when I try to scan scan only letter size, I do not know how to change the scan of a legal size scan on my officejet 8500 has more all in one printer

To scan legal-size documents I advise to use the software that must be installed with the printing of HP scanning software. Once you open the scanner, there should be an option on the top of the window to select it scan the area. Choose "Legal (8.5x14)" and continue as usual. You want to scan from the tray as well and not from the ADF. Here is a document on the analysis of HP:

  • Help with batch text Document Cryptor & decryptor please?

I am currently a text document cryptor & decryptor. Here's how it will work:

For a document normal text (*.txt) ENGLISH encrypted, just drag and drop a text document in the batch file. It will then display the file encrypted with an additional "_C" after the name, NOT the EXTENSION (e.g. "Hello.txt" issued to "Hello_C.txt"). The process of decryption of encrypted text documents will work similar to crypting them. All you have to do is drag and drop the document encrypted in the decryptor batch file, and it will display a file with an extra "_DC" in the filename, not after the extension, once more. So, here's an example of what will happen:

    For encryption:

    1. I've just drag and drop a normal text ("Hello.txt") document in the batch cryptor file.

    2. it generates a new file ("Hello_C.txt").

    3. I try to read it. I can not because it is encrypted.

    For decryption:

    1. I drag and drop a text document encrypted (e.g. Hello_C.txt.) It is to have the additional "_C" in the name of file, OK?) on the command of decryptor file.

    2. it generates a new file called "Hello_DC.txt".

    3. I try to read it. I can't because it is now decrypted. YAY!

So that's how it will work. Can someone explain to me what I do for this? Like give me orders and stuff?

    Hello

  • I received a text document that went into another language, how it translate to English?

I received a text document that went into another language. I don't know what language it is. How to get English, so that I can read it...?

    * original title - please help! *

Go to a page of internet translator like Bing Translator or Google Translate and paste the body of the text file in the text box for the foreign language. This can be done by opening the text document by pressing on Ctrl + A (e.g. Select) then Ctrl + C (e.g. copy). Then, place the cursor in the new place and pressing Ctrl + V (for example the dough). Let the program automatically detect the language of the source if you are not sure of its origin, and then click translate to the English equivalent.

  • Do I need Office if I want to open WordPad text documents?

My WordPad text documents are automatically integrated into Office07.  I can access these through WordPad or what I need to buy Office to use WordPad?

WordPad files have the extension of RTF (Rich Text Format) file and can become partners of Office Word program if you had a test Office facility at the same time. If you do not have a trial of Office on the computer on which you don't have the intention of never the reactivation by purchase, you must uninstall expired installation first of all through the application of programs and features in Control Panel. If you have a working Office 2007 installation but want the RTF files to open in WordPad, just leave the installation of Office 2007 only and move forward.

To re-associate your WordPad RTF with WordPad files, locate one in the Explorer and click the right button, then select Open with... , then Choose default program dialog box.
If WordPad is in the section recommended programs , first make sure that always use the selected program to open this type of file is checked at the bottom left, and then double-click WordPad. The RTF document is opened in WordPad and the default file association will be restored.
If WordPad is NOT in the section programs recommended , use the Browse button to locate Wordpad.exe, is usually located in C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessoires on a Vista or Windows 7 system. Location once you are back at the Open with dialog box, make sure to always use the selected program to open this type of file is checked in the lower left corner and double-click WordPad.
