I see a lot of Windows pirated software on the internet.

Original title: hacking

I was browsing the web this morning and stumbled on what they call "Windows Loader", and to my surprise, I found tons of websites giving detailed instructions on how to download a genuine copy of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and even Windows 8, and then how to activate the free.

Why Microsoft does not make something on these activities?

The movie and music industries have been very successful to close these sites that distribute movies and songs of copy right.

What is Microsoft actually allows to do? If it stops these web sites, these people prefer to use Apple or Linux. Yes may thus allows this to happen and makes its statistics higher OS. Microsoft is also especially make money OEMS and enterprise customers. Sold at retail is not much more than a profit anyway.

What do you think?

Charles.

Hello

Microsoft is not unaware of piracy. Windows is probably the most pirated software on the planet.

Sites that encourage piracy are usually in countries where laws are not as stringent as those in other countries. This makes it much more difficult to stop the pirates.

  • How to access Windows 8 PC on the Internet with remote desktop connection?

    Hello

    Can someone tell me how to access Windows 8 PC on the Internet with remote desktop connection?

    I'm good with the software and I have used many Microsoft software since the 1980s. So I like Microsoft products, but since they have outsourced their tech support, you can't support quality even if you pay for it. I followed all the instructions in the Windows 8 will help about DRC setting screens, but I can't connect unless I'm on the same home network. Here are the details:

    I have a desktop PC with Windows 8 Pro and I have authorized the DRC. I tried two settings in system properties:

    1. Allow connections to this computer remotely.
    2. That allow the connection of computers running Office remotely with authentication NLA.

    I also turned on both private and Public Windows Firewall settings > allow an App or feature through Windows Firewall.

    I have installation then DRC to my laptop with Windows 8 (standard edition, not the Pro version). I have a DRC using the full name of the computer and other DRC using the static IP address for my ISP Desktop connection.

    I use the user account administrator Windows for connections of DRC of the laptop.

    I cannot get this to work on the Internet from a location outside my house with another ISP connection. The only way it works if I'm uncomfortable with the laptop using the same network home.

    I called Dell tech support and it is always useless and just a more aggravating waste of an hour to talk to their support of technique outsourced in India (who barely even understand English) and then they hang up the phone as it was supposed to be disconnected. I also called Microsoft support and lost more than an hour to speak to their outsourced tech support in the Philippines (and as support of the India, they hang up or 'disconnect' when they cannot answer your question and they go account learn you more about Windows while they do). U.S. tech companies use AMERICANS more for their technical support so their customers can get people who actually care about doing a good job and can actually understand English?

    So if someone who knows using Windows 8 for DRC on the Internet has some tips, then it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!!

    P.S. If anyone is offended by my comments about the ugly, incompetent, stupid providing "technical support" in India or the Philippines - Nevermind! You go ahead and waste hours of your time talking to some Morón in these countries, who barely understands English and then 'disconnects' the call when they know that you realize that they are clueless and have all the answers.

    Take a look at no - IP.com or dyndns.com, and then use your host.domain:3389 of no.-ip/dynDNS or run RelaVNc SErver that is running on port 5900 by default.  Server options allow you to change the port as well if necessary.

  • Windows Vista cannot access the internet, the link speed and Duplex negotiation seems to be the problem

    I have a desktop running Windows Vista Home basic and I can't connect to the internet through a local network, which is connected through a router (Belkin). Adapter type is Internet: Intel 825562V-210/100

    After consultations with the support of technichal society of router and my PC vendor, it seems that there is aproblem with negotiating the link speed. Here are some symptoms:

    I can access the internet if I connect the cable directly to the modem;

    Connected through the router, I can sometimes connecting to the internet if Imaually change settings of connection speed (10 / 100 Mbps, half/full duplex)

    All other PC connected to the network, using Win Vista and throuhg connected to the same router, have access to the network;

    If I connect my network cable to another PC, it will have access to the internet;

    The status of my PC seems to be 'connected' on the site of implementation of routers. The State of my connection is sometimes "Local only" sometimes "Local and Internet", but in fat, there is no internet access.

    I tried the following:

    Trouobleshooting under the direction of the technical support of the router and PC vendor.

    Update the operating system to restore to an earlier date, to restore to the factory settings; Reformatting my PC 2 times, (first internet worked for a few hours only); update the OS (by connecting directly to the modem); Turning off Win Defender, removing software antivirus. Reset LAN connection...

    Any suggestion please?

    New router solved the problem.

    Thanks a lot, especially Jack :-).

    Please help me, you have this problem for about a week now, I was just at my PC then suddenly descended from connection and everything was gone?
    Please help me to get fixed that problem judged 1000 forums!
    Hi gabrieldemirci,
    You mention that "I was just at my PC then suddenly descended from connection and everything was gone."
    Hear you errors are not displayed or you are unable to connect to the internet?

    Is the connection via cable or wireless? If it's wireless, try to connect with a cable and see if the problem is resolved.
    You can try these methods to check whether the problem is resolved.
    Method 1: Run the troubleshooters.

    Method 2: Perform a PING test.
    (a) type "Command Prompt" in the find and right-click on the result and click "Run as Administrator".
    (b) type "ping " (without the quotation marks or brackets) and press "Enter."

    (c) post the results here.

    Method 3: Updated network adapter drivers.
    Update the network adapter drivers on the site of system manufacturers.

    Method 4: Perform a system restore.
    If the problem occurred recently, you can perform a system restore.

    NOTE: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

    For further reference if you can't connect to a network.
