  I think I found a bug in the new software of gingerbread and I wanted to see if other people know this as well. In the stock text messaging application, when in a conversation, there is a shortcut feature that allows you to call the person you text by pressing the hard menu button then the call button with a small picture of a phone above her. This will display a list of all the phone numbers that you saved for that particular person. The bug I encounter is that instead of list what each number is (work at home, mobile,...) it just says: 'other' for each phone number.   Except that I am very satisfied with the new software of gingerbread. I think that if these bugs can be ironed on the droid x will remain one of the best phones android out there even though he is a year old now.

  Once you have registered the product, you should not see the banner of 'Trial' on NEW projects. This isn't the case, right? You only see on the project that you created before you register the product, right?

  That said, to remove the banner, go to the folder of directory on your hard drive where your project PREL files are stored and delete the folder called Adobe Premiere elements preview files.

  Is there a program to load the disk or is it just copies of some images.  So just copies, then the disc will not 'load' because there is no program to run.  Insert the disc in the drive and click Start / computer / player Disck and right click it and select Explorer.  You should be able to see the folders and files with your photos.  You can or the disc appears to be blank or missing?

  If the problem is that by clicking on the file does not open a program to display it, and then confirm that your Vista machine has software installed to read the file type of the images (they may require that you get a different software to view what they are).

  If this isn't the problem, try to copy some files from the disc to your desktop computer and try to open them from there and see if that makes a difference.  If so, then there is a problem with the drive to recognize the types of files, and then by selecting the appropriate program.  You should maybe go to the web site of the manufacturer of the drive and download any driver, firmware and suitable for the machine AND your version of Vista.  Install it and see if that makes a difference.  Check out a few other discs and see if you have the same problem with them or if it's only this one disc.

  What type of disc is (CD, CD - R, CD - RW, DVD,...)?  Confirm that you can read stll the drive on the XP machine.  Do you get the error on each machine and if so what do say EXACTLY?

• Cannot install Windows 8 with the new drive, because the key will not

  I just rebuilt a 64-bit pc. I had windows 7 on it and decided to do a clean install of windows 8. Bought a version OEM from Amazon yesterday. Arrived today and the disc was in double sealed package of Microsoft Corporation.  The package comes with the key in very small print on the back that I had to read with a magnifying glass. This key is not accepted during the installation of the software. I checked that it was OK and I tried several times but the key has not been accepted. What should I do now?

• Found a Bug? -Select the columns to sort by - but not current table

  Just found a problem. Don't know if it's the right place for this but:
  
  -on the spreadsheet (or whatever it's called), when I clicked the sort, the list of columns was for one table OTHER then the one I had open - he had two already selected columns that do not exist in the open table. By clicking on "apply sorting" caused no changes.

  OK, I did some research and found that this can be caused by several different things.  Here will be a list of questions to information that can help us diagnose your problem.  Then, I will list some things to try.

  This game has never run on this PC?
  What are the specifications of your system (brand, model, CPU, RAM, etc...)?
  What kind of mouse you use (wireless, wired, touchpad integrated, etc...)?
  Have you updated any drivers lately?

  Things to try:
  Update your driver to map his and your video card driver.
  If you are able to access the game options, turn off any hardware acceleration for the sound.
  If you use a wireless mouse or you have any type of attached block, then unplug it and test it with a wired mouse.

• When I run the Defragmenter I end up with large blocks of fragmented files that will not move much matter how many times I run.

  One more, then I'll stop: Some WordPress plugins include browser sniffing code that can adjust the output for different browsers. Recently, there was one that worked right up for Firefox 35 and caused problems in Firefox 36 (why can not my clients or I discovered my own site on FireFox?).
